The cooktop of this range showed marks after first use. We have had this range for a little over a month, but it looks older due to the marks. Can see from other reviews that it is a common problem. It’s like the cooktop can’t handle the heat from the burners. Oven and air fryer work great. Overall the range works great. Just disappointed that it has all these imperfections with the cooktop.

Electric stinks. The range does its job nothing spectacular. Gets dirty immediately even as clean as I am. Hard to clean things get burned and stuck on glass after one cooking. Used many sponges hard to get off grime. Black stove top doesn’t help

Ok so I'll get right to it. The lock feature on this is a pain in the backside. I have a toddler and i want to lock the oven when its on as well as off. You can't do that with this stove. The glass top scratches so easily. The drawer at the bottom is very generic. It have some Bluetooth capabilities but i have never used it. The directions that come with this stove are severely lacking. It hots the food I'm making so i am happy with that.

I purchased this range to replace a 5 year old identical range that the circuit board went out on. The cost to repair seemed to high to chance replace it. This stove is close to identical without the same quality in the materials as the last one - very flimsy trim. The stove top is extremely touchy and I will be surprised if it doesn't scratch or stain quickly. After five years on my other stove, I never had the cleaning issues that I'm having with this one. The timer doesn't shut off easily - I'm still working on that issue. At this point, I wouldn't hesitate replacing this stove if it was easy to return. I would like to add when we replaced the kitchen, we included all Samsung appliances - refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and the range. I did expect the same quality.

The stove top doesn’t clean properly. From the first time it was used the pot boiled over a bit and I followed the instructions for cleaning and it didn’t clean. I wish I had taken it back then because it got worse.

I've only haf this a few days and the range is fine and does the job for cooking and baking (have not air fried yet because i haven't gotten basket like many other reviewers). I'm motivated to write a review though, for 2 reasons: 1) After using the stove top exactly once I got the same "bubbling" under the glass that a couple other reviews mention. Not a deal breaker, not terribly noticeable at this point but not great and 2) I can't believe that in all my pre-purchase research I only found a passing mention of the "songs" this appliance plays. It plays almost 15 seconds of, what i find to be, an incredibly annoying melody when the oven reaches temperature and does the same (but with a different melody) when the timer goes off (and it keeps going and going until you hit the timer button). The only option I can find anywhere (Samsung help, other online appliance help and in the owner's manual) to solve the problem is to turn the sound completely off-therefore making the timer useless-all or nothing is a terrible solution. My stove can be connected to my wifi but it can't give me a seconary sound indicator option? If I had any inkling of this feature I would never have purchased.

I did extensive research prior to selecting this product. Based on my research, there is not one brand that checks all the boxes when purchasing an appliance package. They all fail in one product or another. I knew the stovetop would likely scratch and mark easily, and it does. It also feels a bit cheaply made. The metal doesn't feel durable. Looks nice and cooks well, but quality is lacking. I've had it about 2 months now and we cook frequently. I wanted a specific Samsung refrigerator, so I got a range and microwave to match. The stove and oven do cook well. Rapid boil works as it should. The warmer is good. But, as soon as water spills over or food splatters while cooking, the marks are there to stay. No matter how fast you clean it or what product you use to clean it the top, it will never stay perfect looking. It will look good, but not great. Unfortunately, things just aren't well made anymore.

The design is cute. It cooks fast. The airfry is not what they hype it up to be. There is a bunch of smoke when air frying things and if you do not put a liner down at the bottom it will mess up quickly. No cleaning will help. The stove top got burnt marks after the first use. I cleaned it with dawn, baking powder and Proi. It makes everything that is still smooth clean but those burnt patches nothing helped it. I even bought the stop for flat top stoves didn’t help. The wifi on here is pointless all you can do is set the temp and how long on your phone, then you have to go to the stove and press start. For all of that I can set the time when I’m there pressing start. So no I don’t believe it is worth all the money they are selling it for.

I do like the ease of cleaning a glass top electric range. I do not like how long it takes to heat up or the price of electricity. The product itself isnt bad but ours had stress marks in the glass top after the first use. So we returned it with any resistance from Best Buy. Absolutely hassle free (apart from taking it back to the store). We ended up getting a gas range instead.

Came very dented after weeks of begging to have it delivered due to a “glitch” and then apparently “back order” and then “no delivery personnel for my area”. Was told we would be able to do a return exchange which made me very nervous because I didn’t want to be stuck with a dented oven nor did I want to be without one while waiting for it be delivered since it was such a hassle. It is again a hassle to get the new one delivered. The stove roasts things great and I love that there is only one hearing element because it will be so easy to clean the bottom. It is compatible with smart things app so I love that.

Bought this stove to have wireless control of pre-setting/prewarming temperature, but you must go to the stove and press start in order for it to start heating. It's not that big of an issue. However, the outer glass on the oven door shattered when a pot handle spun around and hit the side of the oven door. The pot was in the cabinet next to the stove. Contacted Samsung, and i was told it would not be covered under warranty. The glass shattered, then fell off the door with minor contact to the side of the glass! This is a safety issue! BE WARNED OUTER GLASS ON OVEN DOOR IS EXTREMELY FRAGILE! The stove and conto work pretty well otherwise. Air frying is not a effective as compact air fryer.

Overall, giving this 3 stars. We all know Samsung makes beautiful appliances but I do have my gripes. But I guess let me start with what's nice: - App connectivity. Great if you want to "Pre-heat" your oven when youre out grocery shopping. The only downside is I use my oven as storage of extra pots and pans so I can never get a jump start on using this feature. - the drawer at the bottom is smaller than a traditional range. Do you see above the bar where you can hang towels? There is a piece of stainless steel with the long rectangle? I think THAT's what takes up space where you get less drawer space. I think Samsung does this to cut back on costs which is my speculation. It seems if you were to buy the range with buttons in front, thats where it would be. I know companies are cutting corners with these industrial design calls so they can make other variations. Its just not practical in my opinion on this range to have that wasted space. - The towel bar - ALSO - its too low. I find opening, closing, hanging towels on the bar - its really low for me. Although I am also on the taller side at 6'. I find it at an awkward position compared to other ranges I've had to use or own. The stainless steel thats on the top of the range: Please go see this range in person. But look at the cooktop...The stainless steel that comes up from the side, inlets in somewhat to the cooktop. The problem? It scratches up easily and it looks so unsightly. I've only had this range for about 5-6 months. Those are mostly my gripes. Again, Samsung makes beautiful appliances. BUT I think the next time I need an upgrade, I'll look at other brands. I hope this one lasts though, I've heard Samsung customer support isn't the greatest and I did not opt. for the coverage from Best Buy incase anything happens so I am hoping for the best. I've bought many appliances from Best Buy before and always spend money on the extended warranty or coverage plans but find I never use it. Plus these things typically last 5-10 years depending on usage. Hope this review helps but I'd recommend looking elsewhere in terms of build quality.

Range is not intuitive for set up initially. It plays a couple of lines of music when it is ready or the timer is about to go off. Hate that the manual doesn't come with it.

Bought this range sight unseen. So far here are the major downsides: when going from a burner type stove to a glass top range the lack of friction on the burners takes getting used to. This affects smooth bottom pots and pans. Stirring becomes more difficult as a handle must be held and visual verification has to be maintained to ensure the container remains on the burner. The biggest challenge so far has been cooking with flat bottom woks. The second issue is that the video used to sell this model specifically says that the airfryer basket is included standard. This model did not have the airfryer basket and the delivery techs were at a loss when they viewed the video. The third issue is that when baking on the standard setting, cakes cook on the outside but are runny in the center and frozen pizzas burn on the edges before the center is done. It may be that temperatures need to be lowered from a standard oven but would have been nice to know up front. It’s not all bad, Breadproof is a wonderful feature for making beautiful rolls, buns, and loaves. Look forward to trying Dehydrate and Airfry… if the airfryer feature works as promised that will be another appliance off of the counter. Really miss the old proven tech that just always worked. One last plus… steam cleaning… oh yeah.

Thank you for your review. We see your point with the cookware as compared to gas cooktops, they are equipped with grates that fit all most all cookware. With glass cooktops, it may be challenging but with the proper cookware, it would make it easier to use the cooktop. I have shared the user manual link below. The air fry tray is not included with the model that you have purchased. I have viewed the video from Best Buy for this model, it does show an air fryer tray on it but a disclaimer is included stating that Select Samsung models include the tray and may be purchased separately. Please turn to pages 35 - 36 of the user manual for the air fry instructions. You may also purchase the air fry tray on the website of our authorized distributor for parts and accessories (http://www.samsungparts.com/).

My stove arrived last night, but the delivery guys said their records showed that they were not installing it, just delivering it. When I bought it before, they installed it for me. Now I have a stove, but not a working stove. I now have to find someone to install it for me. What a hassle.
