I purchased this cooktop in December and it arrived yesterday. This induction cooktop replaced an electric cooktop. The install was easy and only took my husband about 20 minutes. Samsung had a great offer of some free cookware if I left a review. So, "I received compensation for this review but the review is my own”.* One of the first things I tested was boiling water. I wanted to see if it would boil as fast as some of the Youtube videos said it would. It does. This model is very basic compared to some of the induction cooktops out there, but most of the ones with more features were backordered and since not all of the burners on my old cooktop worked, I really needed something fairly quickly. This has more features than a standard electric cooktop so it is definitely an upgrade from my previous cooktop. It is easy to use and looks great. The Best Buy employees that delivered the cooktop were very nice and courteous. I have had other Samsung products (Refrigerator and phones) and have been pleased with them as well. If you have never owned a glass cooktop before, I would recommend you clean your cooktop regularly with the Weiman Glass Cook Top Cleaner and Polisher. It works great.

Product is ok when it works. The digital control screen works poorly. Hard to operate if its dirty or there is grease on it. Weve had to shut off the circuit breaker a few times to reboot the controls. It is very frustrating. When it works it cooks fine. Glass scratches easily and it doesnt clean up well.

We bought the Samsung 30" Smart Induction Cooktop w/ Wi-Fi, along with Delivery/Installation, weeks before our Home Remodel was ready to accept it, but Best Buy was accommodating and said to just tell them when. We did have to work with our General Contractor to ensure the model we picked could be accommodated by our cabinets. The Installers called/arrived as scheduled for a quick easy installation. One needs Induction Ready Cookware and although we had two sets already, this gave us the opportunity to upgrade. We cooked some of the Thanksgiving meal on it and it was perfect.

It worked fine for three months. I didn’t cook often, maybe 7 times and now the big burner won’t work and shows a U error.

I received compensation for this review but the review is my own. This is an entry priced induction stovetop. It definitely cooks quickly and evenly. The largest burner doesn’t seem to be hot all the way across. Overall so far I’m happy with this purchase.

Bought a house, it had gas, wanted induction because I'm a geek about efficiency and air quality. Got this open-box for less than $600, and couldn't be happier with it. Easy installation, zero setup, doesn't require wifi to operate, looks sleek on the counter, and it makes food hot. It boils six quarts of water in around four minutes.

I took awhile from purchase to installation due to delays in other renovations but the cooktop is finally installed! The install process was straightforward and easy. Getting the first pot of water to boil was exciting and FAST!

We replaced our almost 20-yr old cooktop oven with this Induction cooktop and my wife and I are happy with our decision as the induction cooktop heats up a lot faster, thereby cooking food faster and in the process saving on electricity. It is also very user friendly and more safe

This conduction cooktop is a godsend after cooking on a regular electric cooktop. It responds so quickly (maybe faster than a gas cooktop) when turning the heat up and down. Also boils liquids in a jiffy. My only complaint is that after the second use there were semi permanent stains on the top. They recommend using a corning ware cleaner. I will have to try this. Hopefully it will work.

Originally bought this in Fall 2022. Works great. Super fast. In spring 2024 we heard a loud pop noise. It blew the circuit breaker and the unit only displayed an error message after that. It was replaced under extended warranty. The replacement unit made a similar popping noise after just 7 months and it was completely unresponsive after that. The replacement unit was under manufacture warranty and Samsung replaced every board in the unit over two visits to get it working again. Hoping is doesn't break a third time

We have had it for over six months now. This thing is sweet, but be alert: You might have to buy a new set of pans like we did. I have always liked cooking with gas and was a little hesitant about this cooktop. Everything is quicker, and boiling water for a pot of pasta takes about 25% of the time as gas. Just be aware that you will rarely need the high setting. You will probably want to get some silicone pads to protect the surface from sliding pans. The surface is nice and shiny, but it seems pretty tough.

I replaced a Samsung with a motherboard problem with a GE cooktop. Then I went back to Samsung when I couldn’t use my induction pans on the elements unless they were the perfect size. The Samsung is easy to use, quiet, and has good sizes and placement of the elements. Practically perfect, but make sure you buy the extended warranty because the electronics are $$$ to replace.

The cooktop is amazing, the first third-party installation company hauled away my old gas cooktop and tried to install it and found not matched, then I asked granite cut company cut 1/2 inches and called Best Buy again, then another third-party installation company sent one gentleman to install the new cooktop, but he just hooked up the wires on the electric junction box without any connectors. A local city technician found this is violation of the city safety code without connectors, so I have to call the Best Buy again.

Great Cooktop, Replaced an older cooktop that was very slow when boiling water and cooking. This new cooktop ranges from heat levels up to 15 and can boil water in half the time than the previous one (3min-5min)
