The Samsung - 49 Class - (48.5 Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV - with High Dynamic Range - Black, Is the best TV that I've had or seen, at any friends, or families house! The color and picture is amazing, especially on 4k shows and movies. Even regular movies it's amazing like Avengers Civil war...you would think it's on 4k. It's so good when you watch older movies it kinda kills it, as you can see fake or cgi stuff . The trim around the TV is a sleek, sexy brushed gunmetal. The controller very modern looking, has voice command which is very cool ,and has nice contour for handling. The pre downloaded smart center is easy to use, the controller house AKA home button takes you directly there it's that easy. Even more simple just hold the voice command button and say Netflix, or Internet, and takes you directly there, or to one of the apps. I gained 10lbs from this TV, and I love ever pound of it lol. Here is a pic of the TV with the app center up while watching a movie. P.S. don't judge the wires I'm looking for nice cable wall plates.

The TV was a second option after returning a vizio 50". I was so relieved and happy with how easy it was to set up the samsung. The graphics are unbelievablably amazing and the smart tv interface is super easy and friendly to use. In short, this TV met all my TV fantasies. Its worth the extra bucks in the price. Ps: just in case you are located in Chicago, i recommend you buy your TV from the Hancok Building location and look for Jonathan P. He is polite professional and very informed about all the brands.

We were past due for a TV upgrade and wanted to go high end so that we could get a few years out of this upgrade as we did with our last television purchase (now 7 years old). With a positive rating and recommendation in Consumer Reports combined with plenty of solid product reviews on the Best Buy website, it seemed like a great choice. As we see the value associated with the in store experience, we confirmed availability at our local store and headed down to Spokane Valley. As we often experience, the in store customer service was excellent. Although we knew what we wanted, we did appreciate the opportunity to see the television in person and to look at and compare to similar products before making the purchase. We were impressed with the informative and low stress experience with the sales associate and Best Buy's team which loaded up our purchase in our vehicle. Regarding the television itself, all the positive reviews were right on. Very intuitive and easy to set up. I am not even sure I referenced any manuals... it's that easy. Well thought out on-screen set up process and easy to use remote. We like the small size of the remote, but it is lacking lighting features, however, which makes it difficult to see in low lighting. We do prefer our back lit remotes. Television screen quality is beyond exceptional. It does well with standard definition and excels with high definition signals. No complaints. Highly recommend.

Cons? The stand goes a bit too inward and I strongly advise that you check its dimensions before buying. This is specially true if you are considering to put a sound bar right in front of your TV. But hey! look at the bright side: There are many TVs out there boasting of 4K image quality while being way cheaper than this one. This TV however stands out if you go to a store and compare its image quality with others side by side. Although it does not try to replace external home theater audio systems, the build-in sound system does a good job delivering a clear sound. As with any Samsung product, the TV was easy to setup and the user interface is simplistic and to the point. As a bonus point (my personal favorite), it is very straight forward to pair the TV via Bluetooth to other devices (e.g. headset).

I stepped up a notch and paid a bit extra for the better 4K picture, and was very pleased, but the unexpected bonus on this TV is the really streamlined and intuitive remote it came with. It avoids the typical "million" buttons and displays everything you need to see on the TV. Easy to set up. Don't have cable, but get great picture over the air and via internet.

Great color. Easy to set up. Brightness stabilization with ambient light levels. Speaker volume is just fine for 20 x 30 ft room. Note - match this with a Samsung Blueray sound bar if U get one. set up is a cake walk and responds with both IR Remotes. No audio delays. Solid wifi but dont use it much.

I upgraded from a 720p plasma that I have had for years (still do in another room) & the picture quality is phenomenal. HDR really makes the screen come alive. Price cannot be beat for the quality, this is a fantastic option.

It has a great picture and sound. The look of the set is very sleek, too. As for it being a Smart TV, it works much bette than earlier versions of smart TVs.

The good: awesome slim design, good image, good sound, and great remote once you learn how to use it. The bad: I had to unplug the TV a few times due to YouTube not working properly but after the latest update it never happened again.

Beautiful picture, easy to use remote and surprisingly, great sound. Unfortunately the remote won't sync with my dtv receiver, but no big deal.

This TV is easy to set-up and easy to use. As you might expect for an HD TV, the picture quality is superb. The set-up of the TV was very easy, I just followed the instructions on the menu screens to complete set-up in a just a few minutes. The TV comes with a smart remote which is operated by voice commands. Entering information on the keyboard that pops up on the screen when you need to enter information for new apps is also easy and much quicker than on other smart TVs I have used. We have had this TV for 2 months and have had no problems.

I was surprised when I got home how simple it was to set my Samsung Smart TV. It recognized my Roku 4 and seriously linked up to my Galaxy Edge. It had every app desired including Sirius XM and PLEX. only down side it's there isn't a Application for Time Warner TV like the one found on my ROKU, but it's probably the Cable Company trying to force a Box on TV offenders svc Not Samsung. Speakers or plenty loud enough without a Sound Bar in a Large Bedroom. You can hook blue tooth speakers up to this TV also. The pictures is vivid svc clear.

The best 4K I had seen yet ! Samsung rules !! I had orginally decided in the 40 inch for my bedroom, but when working on the purchase the sales associate suggested the 49 inch at the Same price point. I went to go see the screen on the demo wall, and chose that one immediately, the smart hub is awesome, I love the ambient light sensor, the voice control... AWESOME TV AND FEATURES , the picture is amazing with the added hdr filter which enhances the colors. MUST GET ,

Bought new Samsung UHD TV - Great picture, wonderful upgrade from my old Sony Bravia EXCEPT... The power cord simply falls off the TV. The female end of the order fits on the prongs in the TV set fine but are too loose to remain in place. I now have an $800 TV set with a piece of duct tape holding the cord in. No biggie, I'm sure Samsung is aware of this so off to Customer service on-line I go. Entering Samsung Customer Service is like being Dante and entering the road to Hades. Customer service list specific power options: Power doesn't turn on, power turns on by itself, power intermittent, power turns off by itself. No "power cord falls off TV power prongs." If you don't have the right "symptom" they do not offer "customer service" Its still very new (<2 weeks) I will probably take it back and get the LG. Not because the TV reception is bad (it isn't) but because sooner or later EVERYTHING breaks, everything. I do not want to visit Samsung Customer Service Hades again. Your experience(s) may be different than mine but if you buy one open the box while still at Best Buy and make sure the power cord actual fits and stays. If not, check out LG. I'm just saying . . .
