I already had bought the same TV, but smaller, about 2 years ago. The colors are vibrant and the TV has worked very well. When I moved 3 months ago I decided to put that TV in the bedroom and buy the same TV but larger , for the living. And I was not disappointed. Again the colors are vibrant, sharp, and absolutely fantastic. What amazed me the most was the price, I bought it 2 days before Christmas and got a great deal. Of course the new TV has added and updated features from the other one, but they work great!!!! I’m very satisfied with my purchase. It was east to set up and step by step instructions were clear. I have my internet and Fios service hooked up to both TV. I love that they are super slim and thin. The only drawback and that goes for all TV’s , if the speakers are underneath the TV the sound and volume will tend to reflex off your TV stand. So volume isn’t as high. To enhance the volume I bought a simple sound bar from Amazon which was great and called Bestisan. It was inexpensive and made the TV perfect. However, I’m Older so I made have needed it. It all depends on how high you want the volume on your TV and if the volume is sufficient for you. All in all I love both my TV and recommend it totally to any buyer that wants a nice looking TV…. Bright colors and most importantly economical.

We were thrilled to see the performance of this LED 4K 50”Samsung TV. We didn’t wanna spend the extra money for QLED versus LED, as other Samsung TV’s in our home have the QLED. The TV is mounted high on the wall (near ceiling) in our Primary BR. Total tech geek squad installers did a fabulous job. We did elect to add a slim Samsung sound bar, so the volume didn’t need to be jacked up. We tried it first without the sound bar, and it’s a better experience using the sound bar. Living in high-rise condo, adjusting the light can be a challenge. This TV offers several picture options with varying degrees of brightness. That’s a bonus. Only negative I can think of, only can two Bluetooth devices, so have to repair items not on the list! It’s a pain but it’s a “1%’er” problem we can live with. Great value! Another bonus for Samsung customers, all Samsung Smart TV’s, have SUPPORT allowing Samsung’s REMOTE MANAGEMENT which allows technicians to virtually access your TV for diagnostic help. I have used Samsung remote management over a dozen times, and they are incredible!

Great picture and I love the remote! This is our bedroom TV and I like it more than the living room TV. It’s thin, light weight and easy to move.

I’ve had this TV since 2022! So far, the TV is very clear and the sound is crisp! Also, the TV is very easy to function. There is no glitches or anything like that. I’m very impressed with this television and more likely order a bigger one.

Got this for our bedroom, replaced a similar 42" LED Samsung model bought last year, and it's the thinnest TV I've ever owned, actually thinner than my 2022 iMac! There's good color rendering, we use the native OEM OS and apps and although the Samsung OS is slow and not very intuitive at least the new slim remote has shortcuts too. Sound is definitely the biggest drawback, limited bass and not enough power, far less than similarly priced HiSense model we trialed with it. That said, for similar price the picture was much clearer, much more vivid (same settings on both) and overall prefer the remote. IF you like sound definitely opt for a sound-bar with it, but if you want a slim TV to hang off the wall, this one is SUPER slim.

Obsessed with the sound and the quality for such a great price would recommend it to anyone got it in the 55”. Also has adjustable brightness that is very easy to use in the settings and can switch back and forth between how dark and bright you want it and has little to no reflection/glare in day

Great picture, but disappointed with volume not loud enough. Disappointed with the remote and the settings instruction guide. Still trying to learn how to maneuver around the settings and menu. Overall I like it!

Hi Core! Thank you for purchasing the Samsung 50" AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and for sharing your experience. Your feedback is important to us and will be shared with the product team.
There are several volume features you can enable/disable/adjust to your liking.
1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input.
2) Adaptive Volume automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source.
3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
Also, some sources have their own volume control which might be set too low. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try cable connection again.
You can view the embedded e-Manual that contains information about your TV's key features. You will also find step-by-step instructions on great features such as Multi View where you can watch what’s on your TV and your phone on the same screen at the same time and Tap View which allows you to mirror your phone on your TV with just a tap. The manual is available directly on your TV at: Settings > Support > Open e-Manual
You can also find the full manual directly on Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “TVs”. From there, you can select the AU8000 under "Crystal UHD TVs" > "A Model Lineup".

Outstanding quality, visuals, options, sounds, and features. It feels like a “smart” tv. Only con is the remote. The remote is VERY sensitive which will lead to clicking off apps without trying to(and that means your previous app restarts so big inconvenience). Also is very small and thin so it gets lost frequently. 100% worth it. Primarily used for gaming and movies and it nakes both outstanding with bascislly no input lag on my end(comes with a game mode). Also has samsung tv which along with apps make cable obsolete

The Samsung AU8000 is a fine television. Picture quality is 4.5/5. Tizen OS is a bit finicky, 3/5. Brightness is sub par, 3.5/5. Value 4/5. Sound quality (3.5/5) is not very good but that’s because of the very thin design (5/5)

Great picture and versatility except...seems picture breaks up and sound after a couple years. Second one I've owned cause I like it and second time picture went out after about 18 months.

Great picture quality. Sound is good with a sound bar, otherwise, it is not loud enough.

TV is great - picture is clear and colors vibrant. Only thing is learning the remote (reason for my 4 star vs 5) - I am use to more buttons & I have only been able to adjust the volume by using the alexa voice command. I have an old Samsung remote that I may try to use. Remote picture attached.

I I moved my 40 inch Samsung into the bedroom and put my new 50 inch Samsung in the living room. Very happy with it, nice clear sharp picture and good color. My living room is small so this is the perfect size.

The device was easy to set up out of the box. I had no issues getting it hooked up to the internet and fully running in no time.

We have a lot of TVs in our home and this is the best one we’ve purchased yet. The stand width is relatively smaller than other options which is great, especially if you don’t plan on mounting the TV. Set up was quick and smooth. Hulu, Netflix, Prime Video, etc. are already programmed in. Clear, vivid picture with crisp audio. 10/10 would recommend.
