• Standard – Ideal for general viewing

The picture is great, but my main complaint is: No instructions on how to actually use it. It is hard to navigate, and the dinky remote is not very helpful. It took us about a day to figure out how to use it..... somewhat! I still have difficulties. It is hard to get back to a show you had been watching, if you by mistake lightly touched the remote, and it switched. It has not Guide to really tell you what you are watching. Searching for a show is a huge undertaking, because you sit there wasting a few hours scrolling, trying to find something worth watching. Normal volume is muffled, so you have to turn on the (oh, what did they call it?) amplified volume. Then the most comfortable setting is around 17, or you blast your eardrums out. I can't figure out how to add apps that I want. All in all, I should have bought a more user friendly TV. But hey, if you are a computer Wizz, go for it.

IngeB,
We appreciate you sharing your experience. To help you get the most from your TV and remote functions, you can download the full e-Manual and more by visiting Samsung’s website then navigating to: Support > Manual & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can search for and select your TV model to view or download the available guides.
The e-Manual & Remote Control Guide are also conveniently built into your TV: Settings > Support > Tips and User Guides.
For additional guidance, your TV also includes Accessibility features designed to assist with navigation and remote use.
• Learn Menu Screen provides audio guidance for on-screen menus by announcing the name and function of each item as you scroll – without making any changes. This is especially helpful for users who are visually impaired or new to Smart TV menus. Enable via: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Learn Menu Screen. To exit, press the Return key twice.
• Learn TV Remote helps users become familiar with the layout and function of each button on the Samsung remote. Pressing a button (other than Power) will prompt the TV to announce its name and purpose, again without affecting TV operation. Enable via: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Learn TV Remote. To exit, press the Return key twice.
If you’d like more assistance with these features, please reach Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat agents are also available through the ‘Support’ link on our website.

This TV is too big for our apartment. I should have measured ten times instead of three. Also, the picture isn't great and the sound is out-of-sync. I don't know why. I bought a Samsung thinking it would be better quality and so far, the basics, like color, sound and pixelation are not good. Not the best choice for me. If I could return it, I would.

RachelC,
Thank you for your feedback on the lip sync issues you're experiencing with your Samsung TV. This may be related to the content source, but if you're noticing the audio delay across all sources or channels, especially when using an external speaker setup (soundbar, receiver, etc.), there are a few settings that may help:
1. Adjust Digital Audio Delay. You can manually increase the audio delay to better match the video: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay
2. Enable Audio Pass-Through. Samsung TVs include an audio pass-through option, which sends the audio signal directly to your connected soundbar or receiver without additional processing by the TV. This can reduce delay when using external audio devices: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through
3. Check for Firmware Updates. Ensure your TV is running the latest software, which may include performance improvements related to sound or sync: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
If the issue continues after these steps, please contact Samsung Support for additional troubleshooting or assistance. We’re here to help at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat and additional support resources are also available through the Support link on our website.

Bright color and very strong contrast. Viewing angle is bad. HDR looks like garbage streaming, not to bad from 4k disks. Slow processor. ALOT of stutter/judder watching tv shows. The old samsung I had only suffered this watching old tv shows from the 70s and 80s. This 1 is ALL the time. Disappointed to say the least.

Thank you for your feedback on the Samsung Q7F TV and your experience when watching fast-motion content. If the picture appears blurry or unnatural during high-speed scenes, there are several settings you can adjust to improve motion clarity.
Go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, and review these key settings:
Picture Clarity Settings
• Off: Disables all motion enhancement
• Auto: Automatically adjusts motion clarity based on content
• Custom: Enables manual control of:
o Judder Reduction: Smooths motion in film-based content
o LED Clear Motion: Increases sharpness during fast movement
o Noise Reduction: Helps reduce distortion in lower-quality sources
Additional Picture Controls
• Brightness – Adjust overall image brightness
• Contrast – Controls the difference between light and dark areas
• Sharpness – Enhances the definition of object edges
• Color – Adjusts color intensity for more natural or vivid tones
We hope these settings help improve your viewing experience, especially with fast-moving content. If you'd like further assistance, feel free to reach out to Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat is also available via the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Color is fine, picture and refresh rates are good but live streaming is a joke. It disconnects from wifi every 10 min. Contacted bestbuy and they dont care and told us to call the manufacturer. Not a good TV for as much online streaming is required nowadays.

Hi,
Thank you for sharing your experience. If your TV is having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, try the following steps:
1. Keep the TV within 50 feet of your modem or router and reduce interference from other devices or walls.
2. Power cycle your TV and router by unplugging both for 30 seconds, then plugging them back in.
3. If you're using an Ethernet cable, verify it's functional. If using Wi-Fi, move the router closer to the TV.
4. Run a Smart Hub Connection Test: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Smart Hub Connection Test
5. Also check: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Wi-Fi
6. If the issue persists, consider a factory reset: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Reset > Factory Data Reset
If you still need help, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, available 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat support and additional help are available at the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Between the ads on the home screen, the input delay from the remote, and the home screen freezing, you’ll be doing yourself a disservice by purchasing this tv. Skip the Samsung TV and look at Sony (or any other brand). I had zero issues with my Sony TV and nothing but frustration with this Samsung. Maybe Samsung should focus on making a properly functioning television before loading it up with advertisements.

Austin,
We appreciate your feedback regarding your Q7F TV’s performance. If you're experiencing freezing or lag in general response time, please try the following steps:
1. Check for firmware updates – Keeping your TV up to date can resolve many performance issues: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
2. Run Device Care – This tool checks system memory, frees up cached data, and closes background apps that could be slowing things down: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
3. Cold boot your TV – With the TV powered on, press and hold the Power button on your remote for 5+ seconds until the TV restarts. This helps refresh the system.
If you're still noticing performance snags after these steps, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). You can also connect with a LiveChat agent via the ‘Support’ link on our website.

So sorry I purchased this Samsung. It automatically reverts to Samsung Plus when turned on. Have to go to input and select Directv EVERY time to access channels. May be a great marketing tool but never buy again.

user345014,
While your TV may currently default to Samsung TV Plus when powered on, you can customize what your TV does at startup by adjusting the Start Screen Options.
To do this, navigate to: Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > Start Screen Option and choose from the following:
1. Start with Smart Hub Home – Automatically launches Smart Hub when the TV is turned on. You can enable or disable this option based on your preference.
2. Autorun Multi View Casting – If you cast YouTube content from your mobile device, the TV will automatically display the content using Multi View.
3. Autorun Multi View Mirroring – When you screen mirror your mobile device, Multi View will automatically open to show your device’s screen.
If you need help adjusting these settings or have any other questions, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

I can’t say we will buy another Samsung. The price was great but the audio in the tv is terrible. On some shows where there is soft speaking you can’t hear what they are saying then it goes to commercials and the volume goes really loud .. so bizarre! We thought the Ai in the tv would help regulate sound and picture quality. Would not recommend . Thought about returning but too much trouble.

BeckkimT,
Thank you for sharing your experience with volume fluctuations on your Samsung TV. Sudden changes in volume can often be related to audio settings or content differences between sources or apps.
Please try the following adjustments to help stabilize your TV's audio:
1. Enable Auto Volume. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume. This feature helps maintain a consistent volume level when switching channels or apps.
2. Change Sound Mode. Try a different sound mode to see if one offers a more stable output: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode (We recommend Standard or Amplify for more even performance.)
3. Check External Devices. If you're using a soundbar, receiver, or other audio device, check that its volume leveling or dynamic range settings aren’t interfering with the TV’s audio.
4. Update Firmware. Ensure your TV is running the latest software, as updates may include audio improvements: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
If the issue persists after these steps, please don’t hesitate to reach Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat is also available via the ‘Support’ link on our website.
