I upgraded from a Samsung Samsung - 55" Class 6 Series LED 4K UHD TV. I went with Samsung since I didn't want to have to relearn the remote on a different brand TV. I gave this TV 3 out of 5 stars Just because I Hatred the remote. No numeric Keypad! Are you kidding me. I feel I got cheated by a half a remote! I key in most of all my channels using a keypad and I am quick entering Channels using the Key Pad. Maybe I am old but this remote is very basic and unfriendly. The remote is missing all the simplified labeled buttons that made Samsung remotes user friendly. I feel most older people will never be able to use this remote. To top it off it has rechargeable batteries, so you need to flip the remote over so the solar panel can charge the batteries! Whats wrong with replacing batteries every 5-7 years. The only reason I kept this TV was because My old Samsung TV remote worked and from what I see all the Functions of the old remote works with the New TV. That is the only reason I kept the New TV. Was the engineer drunk when he made this remote?? Maybe the Next Remote will even Have less buttons. I hate having to scroll left and right and select the Numbers and select done to enter the channel??? I still can't believe there isn't that many complaints on how useless this remote is? Thankfully you can Buy a old remote such as the BN59-01301A Samsung LCD TV Remote control which does wonders and is easier to hold it makes all the difference and makes a TV a TV. When I look the New remote I just want to take a Hammer to it and put it in the Land fill and wish it good riddance. Now the TV I paid extra to have a Samsung TV and I do have to say it definitely out does my old 55" TV. Picture is Much sharper it also is much faster when selecting smart channels or using the Tizen software. I love the 4K up scaling when it works or is noticeable. Older movies don't always look as sharp. If I had a 4k Blu-ray player I bet the Picture would be assume. So Glad I got the Qled TV. I wish I had the extra Money as I would of loved to purchase a Oled TV. Also to note, sometimes I literately have to turn the sound up to 100 on some movies so must be poor quality movies. I am thinking on getting a sound bar in the near future. I really wish all TV's came with better speakers. All in all the TV is assume but plan on getting a remote for a lot easier operation. Enclosed are some Pictures of the new remote VS the Old. As you can see all the functions on the old remote which are some how embedded in the New remote? Good Luck!

We're sorry you found the included remote difficult to use. To help you get the most from your TV and remote functions, you can download the full e-Manual and more by visiting Samsung’s website then navigating to: Support > Manual & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can search for and select your Q7F TV model to view or download the available guides.
The Remote Control Guide is also conveniently built into your TV: Settings > Support > Tips and User Guides
Learn TV Remote is another feature designed to help users become familiar with the layout and function of each button on the Samsung remote. When enabled, pressing any button (except the Power button, which will still turn off the TV) will prompt the TV to announce the button’s name and its purpose – without affecting TV operation.
This teaching mode is especially useful for users who are visually impaired or new to Samsung remotes. To enable this feature, go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Learn TV Remote. To exit, simply press the Return key twice.

Overall this is a really good TV. The picture quality is great bright clear and vibrant especially when watching sports or streaming in 4K. The QLED display looks awesome both during the day and at night and the size fits perfectly in a living room. The only downside is the smart TV side can be a little glitchy at times. Every once in a while the system freezes or apps stop responding and I have to unplug the TV to reboot it. It does not happen all the time but it is noticeable when it does. All in all I am happy with the TV and would still recommend it. If Samsung can clean up a few software issues it would be even better.

user469948,
We appreciate your feedback regarding your Q7F TV’s performance. If you're experiencing freezing or lag in general response time, please try the following steps:
1. Check for firmware updates – Keeping your TV up to date can resolve many performance issues: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
2. Run Device Care – This tool checks system memory, frees up cached data, and closes background apps that could be slowing things down: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
3. Cold boot your TV – With the TV powered on, press and hold the Power button on your remote for 5+ seconds until the TV restarts. This helps refresh the system.
If you're still noticing performance snags after these steps, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. You can also connect with a LiveChat agent via the ‘Support’ link on our website.

The only thing that is subpar on my 65 in Samsung qled TV is the sound.Once you turn the TV off and turn it back on the next day it will blast the volume like it's trying to blow out the speaker's. And there seems to be a common adjustment on the volume it's either to loud or to low. Plus the great remote is all for us elderly people very touchy.

I opted for this model over the base model because it has 3 hdmi ports instead of 2. I don't observe a noticeable improvement in picture quality over 3yr older, similar Samsung models. It has a slim profile which is nice for a TV this size. Setup is easy and the UI is decent. I use primarily for streaming/apps and occasional gaming. My biggest gripe is the banner ads that always show at the homescreen. For the price, I wish there was a way to disable this, but I believe it's "standard" for smart Tvs these days. You ARE the product, sigh. Overall, for the price I'm satisfied but there's definitely higher quality options from Samsung and across the market.

Its ok. The screen has such a glare to it. Any light on in the room just glares off the screen. Bought it on line. picked it up at the store. Process went fine. The sound it not very good. You have to turn it up to 40 something to get to were you can hear it. I doesn't have smart sound if somethings loud it turns it down or up depending. Sound is it's biggest down fall. I'd pass on this one. There has to be something better out there. Color is not very vibrant either.

Hi,
Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q7F TV and for sharing your feedback regarding screen reflections. Lighting conditions vary from room to room, and reflections may be more noticeable depending on placement and ambient light. For optimal glare control, we recommend positioning the TV to minimize direct light on the screen or consulting with a professional installer for best placement.
Samsung’s Glare Free technology, engineered to minimize reflections from ambient light, is available on the QN90F Neo QLED 4K and higher. Anti Reflection is also featured starting with the S85F OLED and up.
Sudden changes in volume can often be related to audio settings or content differences between sources or apps.
Please try the following adjustments to help stabilize your TV's audio:
1. Enable Auto Volume. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume. This feature helps maintain a consistent volume level when switching channels or apps.
2. Change Sound Mode. Try a different sound mode to see if one offers a more stable output: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode (We recommend Standard or Amplify for more even performance.)
3. Check External Devices. If you're using a soundbar, receiver, or other audio device, check that its volume leveling or dynamic range settings aren’t interfering with the TV’s audio.
4. Update Firmware. Ensure your TV is running the latest software, as updates may include audio improvements: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
If the issue persists after these steps, please don’t hesitate to reach Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat is also available via the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Love the TV. The remote failed and will not hold a charge. I am getting the run around from Samsung. I have requested a new remote and they keep putting me through the same steps, which dont work. Its unfortunate that Samsung support is terrible. I would have rated this TV higher if it wasnt for the remote issue

Hi Doug,
I’m sorry to hear your SolarCell Remote is not holding a charge. Please try the following steps, which may help resolve the issue:
1. Reconnect the remote: Stand within 1 foot of the TV and press and hold the Return and Play/Pause buttons simultaneously for at least 5 seconds, or until a message appears confirming the remote is connected.
2. Check the remote's battery status. Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Remote Control
3. Ensure your TV is up to date. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
