I bought a Samsung Q65 55” about 4-5 yrs ago. Wasn’t sure how well it would stand up to the Sony Bravia I replaced. Was such a great picture, I really only wanted a Samsung. Decision was go less expensive with a Q60 or Q70 or move to next level. I ended up with the Q80T after exhausting research. Best viewing angles, dark blacks and good dimming zones vs edge lit. Also, the previous model showed some reflection of lights or windows. Totally fine here. The test is putting on a 4K YouTube of an aquarium. The dynamic colors, contrast and clarity leave me feeling I have the best TV around. Also, I did pretty thorough cost check and Best Buy’s price was consistent with every where I looked across the board- or the price would match but competitor wasn’t selling 2020 model number. Very happy with purchase!!

I did a lot of research before buying, and it paid off. My watching use cases are movies, sports, and YouTube, and often in a room that is well lit, but never blacked out. As such I wanted 4K QLED (instead of OLED, which is known to be excellent in black out conditions), with decent motion handling, good brightness (to account for ambient light in the room), and as minimal glare as possible. This tv has overachieved vs the expectations I had before buying in each of these departments. In particular, viewing angles are wider than I expected them to be. Definitely add a sound bar if you care about listening to what your watching. Go Bills!

Incredibly vivid colors and a pretty decent sound but a good soundbar with woofer and satellite speakers completent the great cinematic experience. Smarter hub and redesigned slim remote are a definite plus. Another huge plus: new streaming apps like HBOMAX and DISNEY PLUS are just a few clicks away eliminating the need for a streaming media device saving you a couple of hundred dollars (Nvidia Shield is the only one who offers both platforms. Other TV brands do not have this advantage! Most importantly for us: we didn't want to hang our TV on our rare stone work above our fireplace and most models have at least a 12 inch footprint. Too big. This TV'S awesome stand in the center protrudes out the back at a low 35 degree angle profile making it possible to push the TV stand couple of inches in the console compartment above the mantle giving us a footprint width of about 11 inches. This allowed us to securely place our TV on the mantle and save our stone from possible install damage and TV position permanency. Overall great TV with a good, slim, clean rear surface. One thing Samsung has not tackled yet though is glare. Your living room lights reflect as prismatic linear lines on the screen and the only ones we found not affecting glare are the spot lights above the fireplace. After a while though we kind of block them out and Edison vintage brown glass light bulbs cut down some of the glare.

I search really hard to a tv that was affordable to me but also be a good gaming tv and great picture (without possible burn in). My previous tv was 5-7 years old (got during ps3 era), so transferring to the QLED 8T series was magically. And this is the first I have gotten a tv that didn’t require a 3rd party platform to stream tv. It is so much easier, save on energy (thus $$) running one device, and the streaming performance is 10x better (less interrruptions or errors I got from apps like funimation on PS4). So I am hands down happy that I purchased this. If I had more money, I would definitely buy another for my bedroom.

Very solid TV, and overall really happy with this purchase. We wanted this for a sometimes used living room TV. Something to watch with morning coffee or while cooking/baking in the open kitchen (no missing the Hawks games here!). Not our cinema room TV, so this was a budget friendly option. Picture quality is really good, and the size is big enough to adequately see the game from 25 feet away in the kitchen, yet doesn’t dominate the wall. Sound is average, nothing special, but I appreciate the downward pointing speakers instead of rear pointing speakers so the sound is clear enough. Might be worth looking into a soundbar later. It would be nice to have the option for voice commands, but the universal remote it uses is fine for what we need. I have yet to use a TV OS that I like and this is no exception. It’s not the worst, but it’s hardly intuitive and somewhat slow to respond. Minor complaints really, but should be considered. In the end this TV does exactly what we wanted it for and at a price that didn’t make me want to throw up. We’re very happy with this purchase and expect it to last a long time. P.S. Get a good wall mount that’s easy to install for it like the Full Motion Wall Mount and in wall cable management systems (sorry BB, Rocketfish is rubbish) https://www.amazon.com/ECHOGEAR-Articulating-Bracket-Patterns-Extension/dp/B00VMJEK2C It’ll look fantastic!

I have owned Samsung TV's since 2007. Always been a fan and the picture quality has always been amazing. I am also a casual gamer so I have stayed away from OLED tv's because of the fear of burn-in and the lack of warranty for such issues with the brand's that sell OLED tv's. The only downside I have now is that the TV only has one HDMI 2.1 port. The technician told me repeatedly that it had two. So now I wont be able to get the most out of the next-gen consoles when I get both because of that. I would not have purchased this TV if I hadn't been assured that it had two HDMI 2.1 ports. I should have done the research myself but, you should be able to trust that the technicians know about the products they are selling.

This 5" Q80T series tv is by far and above the most outstanding tv I have ever had, ease of use picture quality, energy rating, even the standard sound is great,I do have it connected to my sound system yet very responsive. The Wi-Fi part is great, and playback of my PS4 And separate Blu-Ray player are outstanding again. I am very pleased.

Great picture. Stand was a pain to put together but more because I was so worried about damaging the screen. Easy to set up and use. Love easy access to all streaming services.

The tv eliminates the glare from the windows in our family room. The picture is bright and clear from any seat in the room. The remote control is not very user friendly however, our fios remote controls the main features of the tv.

This tv is so sick!! I was going to shell out the $4,000 for the same thing but the 8k and read some reviews before purchasing that were claiming this tv was just as good if not better than the 8k version. Obviously I was a little skeptical but I got this one on sale for $1,800 Black Friday (less than half price of 8k) so I jumped in it and it was WELL WORTH IT!! The quality is incredible!

Just an awesome tv colors and sound are beyond expectations. Sounds from the tv are great on their own but I’ve paired it with Q70T sound bar and it’s perfect for me .

love the picture quality of my 65” QLED 2020 Model. sharp vivid contrast as I prefer it. only downside is my Bose sound bar needed to be turned on/off by Bose remote control. volume control is integrated in smart remote. i spent more on this model than my previous 55” but it’s worth it.

QLED at its finest. 4K support 1 hdmi 2.1 connection for next gen gaming. Smooth and fast processor. This tv paired with a q70t soundbar with swa 9000 rear speakers brings the cinema to your home. The most amazing thing about this TV is the Dolby atmos surround sound where the sound follows the action on and off screen. Great tv that will have you future proof for the next 10 years

This TV is amazing! Picture is crystal clear, has great wide viewing angle and it's great for watching sports, action movies and gaming. I'm glad I bought the 65" versus the 55." The 65" has speakers on top and bottom and total of 60 watts vs 20 watt on the 55." Sound is so great I really don't need a soundbar. I"m VERY HAPPY with this purchase. Highly recommend!

This Samsung Q80t has the best picture my wife and I have ever seen! The NFL games are terrific because there is absolutely no picture degradation with motion. We were looking at 3 different Sony models, but our 65" Samsung hits a grand slam. The guys from Magnolia set everything up and showed us how to maneuver around the settings to take full advantage of the easy-to-use settings. We could not be happier.

After watching a ton of YouTube videos, reading countless reviews, I finally bit the bullet and went with the Q80T. I’ve always been pleased with Samsung’s TV’s. The Q80T design is beautiful. The stand and design allows you to hide the cords if you wish instead of mounting it on the wall as seen in the pics. I have a room filled with natural light and the anti reflective screen does a great job. The colors are crisp and in Dynamic Mode, very bright. I bought it for $1699.99, but for $1499.99 now, it is a great buy and value, I highly recommend it! I was really close to pulling the trigger on the LG OLED, but the reviews on glare, the quirky remote, and the extremely thin screen helped me in my decision.

I have been using Samsung 8 Series in my Living and Media rooms and but I wanted to try out the Qled for my bedroom so I have finally made up my mind keeping in mind the price difference to see how different It would be and I must say It is different TRUST ME on this. I have been doing research for almost 3 months, reading all the reviews and all but in the end its worth it. I know its pricey and all but its a one time bitter sip and after that you will enjoy watching TV.

The best TV so far, we have ever owned. The picture quality is perfect, I age picture is clear as a bell!!! it is so different from some of the cheeper TV’s we have purchased. It has everything at your touch. Netflix, Amazon and Samsung TV plus that is free are the remote control. I don’t do many reviews but this one really deserves one in my opinion. The only reason it got five stars because they did not have one with 10 stars.
