The picture quality is absolutely amazing with superb framrates.
This TV represents a strange intersection of very nice and very disappointing. It makes a BEAUTIFUL picture... but only after calibration. Before calibration, the out-of-the-box defaults are a trippy, super-saturated fever dream of color. The spec on the Samsung site says it has an anti-reflective display. This is a dubious claim as the screen will diffract an arc of rainbows across the screen, sometimes multiple, for any light sources reflecting off the screen. Meaning, that despite this TV's commendable brightness, it is somewhat frustrating to watch in anything other than a dark room. And when in that dark room, the "non-locality" of the full array local dimming is equally, if not more frustrating. While I could be easily convinced that I haven't found the correct setting on this feature, the fact that I've tried and failed is possibly more disappointing. My 12 year old Samsung F6300 actually did a better job at not obviously blooming backlight despite the fact that it was always blooming backlight. In this case, the excellent contrast makes for a worse experience as anything bright has a pretty distinct halo around it. Oh, and the remote is so small that it spends 90% of the time in a couch cushion and I use my phone to control the TV. But, when you are in a dim room, watching some old sci-fi movie, this TV does a phenomenal job of upscaling to give you a great experience. Whatever that AI chip is doing, really works. Use calibrated movie mode *chef's kiss* The sound is decent on its own, good with a soundbar, and great with an Atmos sound bar. Once again, the Samsung integration is lovely. I know it sounds like I don't like the TV, but I do. However, at this price point, I'd probably recommend an OLED to eliminate the blooming or a Frame to eliminate the scattering pattern across the screen.

Was absolutely blown away by how the picture jump out of the screen. The colors so vibrant. The sound so great. What’s nice about this TV is the fact the inner workings are confined to the back of the TV. So really no heat is present in front.

Due to its size (65"), I had to rearrange the furniture in the living room. This Tv turns on quickly but the Comcast programs have a 5 to 10 second delay before they appear. The set is 8k. The programs do not always show up as 8k due to the transmission of the signal. Even so, I still have a sharper picture than with the 4k model I had in the past. For the sound, I had to add a Soundbar to add clarity to the audio.

I am extremely happy with the tv. Picture quality exceeds my expectations. Just was not happy with the situation of picking up the TV from my local best buy. The attempted switch scam was not appreciated. I did send an email, but have heard nothing back from Best Buy. Suprise Suprise.

I’m impressed with this TV. Years ago I had a tube Sony XBR tv. Some relatives came over with their video camera and wanted to show me some things they had recorded including some 4th of July fireworks at a stadium. They said their camera could capture the colors of the fire work display but on my old XBR they came through brilliantly. I say this because this TV is over an order of magnitude better resolution. Granted this is an apple and oranges comparison, with the different technologies involved but with a TV the main feature is the image quality. 30 years ago the XBR was very good. Now this much better.

Great purchase! The size is good, but not overpowering, all of the features are amazing. My favorite is just the fact that it has 4 HDMI inputs.

As far as the TV goes, it’s great, but don’t hire Geek Squad to set anything up. Called numerous times throughout the day, even got an attitude from a representative. They were persistent that they were going to come in sometime throughout the day and never did. Called to reschedule, and filed multiple complaints was told I was going to receive compensation but never did. Resulting in us missing the World Series. As a My Best Buy Plus Member, I was disappointed with my purchases.

Could be good but the one I got definitely had some problems so I sent it back. Heard later that there were some problems with that model so I decided to not just ask for a replacement. Geek Squad was great getting it set up. I think I'll try a different brand.
