Even though I was shopping primarily for a budget price, this dryer has more functions than higher priced models. It has a large capacity and can be set to a variety of dryness levels, or timed dry. And if I have to run it and leave the wrinkle prevent function keeps the clothes from clumping and wrinkling until I can empty it. This was a great purchase.

We purchased this dryer with the matching washing machine and we love it. It is huge! And, it does what we ask the dryer to do - it dries clothes. It does so really well, quietly and efficiently. The only downside is that it doesn't have an interior light. Not a real biggie for us so it doesn't downgrade the score... I would buy this again!

We purchased this dryer after our old gas dryer stopped working. After having it for about a year, here are my thoughts: PROS I am still very impressed with how quickly it dries clothes! Where the previous dryer took about twice as long to dry a full load as our washer took to wash a load, this dryer speedily dries a load even FASTER than the wash cycle. Maybe all dryers are just that efficient now and our washer is out-dated; I am not sure. But I am thoroughly impressed every time I use it. The wrinkle release feature is also nice; I like to fold the clothes as soon as the dryer completes so that the clothes don't sit in there and get wrinkled. This feature allows you to leave it in there for an additional couple of hours after the drying is done; it will tumble and add heat every few minutes to keep the clothes from settling down and getting wrinkly. Perfect for when I can't get to the folding right away. The lint trap is also in a convenient place - right inside the door. It also won't let you start a new load until you have checked the lint trap to make sure it is empty. Helpful for me since I forget often. It is very quiet when it runs, compared to our last dryer. We have a small laundry room right nest to a number of bedrooms, and my kids say they can only hear it slightly now when it runs at night while they are trying to sleep. CONS My biggest complaint about the dryer is the location of the front door. Our previous dryer door was tall enough that you could leave a laundry basket on the floor and still open the door - convenient to unload the clothes directly from the dryer into the laundry baskets by scooping the clothes out. Because this door on this dryer is mounted lower, the door opens and hits a basket in front of the swinging door. This means that you have to open the door wide, then put the basket in front of the opening in order to scoop out the clothes. Then you have to move the now full basket out of they way in order to close the door again. Inconvenient for our small little laundry room. I suppose you could purchase one of those dryer bases with a drawer to put under it to alleviate this problem - it would also make it easier to load an unload since you don't have to bend down so far. But we don't want to spend another $200 or so just for that. The other complaint I have is just a manufacturer's defect; it allows a small bit of a gas smell out of the dryer when not in use. Not enough to be dangerous, just a little whiff of gas. and it doesn't occur super often, just every once in a while. We had the hookup checked by a professional to make sure we didn't have any gas leak - and it was not anything with the line, just something inside the dryer itself. Its not dangerous, just kind of an annoyance. SUMMARY Overall, I give it 4 stars for its efficiency and quietness. If its door was higher, it would be perfect. A very good purchase at the price we paid for it. A simple machine that does its job well. I'd buy it again.
