Customers recognize the 83” Class S85D Series OLED 4K Smart Tizen TV (2024) for its exceptional picture quality, with many praising the bright colors and its suitability for movies and gaming. The TV's ease of use and straightforward setup are also highlighted as positive aspects. No significant drawbacks were reported by customers.
Bright, colorful, picture, easy set up. I absolutely love the voice commands. The remote has a solar panel on the back. It's a dark bedroom and the remote has never gone dead. First TV arrived broken. It is extremely thin. I highly recommend keeping it on a stand or having it installed unless you have 2-3 strong people to lift it up to a wall mount. So far everything is working as it should. I did get a weird error last night that Bixby was "overwhelmed with commands at the moment" and it locked up for no reason. I rebooted the tv and it resolved itself. I have this in my bedroom and lower the brightness. My former tv was an 65" LG OLED C1 version from 2017. This was more affordable alternative to LG, and I don't feel like it's lacking in any areas. In the photo is a 55" tv in front of the new Samsung 83" for a size comparison.

This is the best TV I ever had in my life! I cannot get over how thin the screen really is. the screen is a vivid clear perfect picture right out of the box. It’s very affective in watching movies and shows. I love the remote control. Can recharge in the sun or USBC. I’m Very happy with my new TV!!!!

As much as I don't like Best Buy due to (2 years ago I purchased $1k laptop for cash when I returned it, They had to mail me a check from corporate office. Their policy was anything over $700 paid by cash will be refunded by check) Anyway this time they nail it, to the point I made my friend to buy this 83" TV as well. 1) I made a purchase 2 hours of sale to be ended. Next day my bank cancel transaction, but Best buy gave me 24 hours to update my card and kept sale price. 2) Delivery: they call me 30 minutes prior with in delivery window timeframe, I asked them to open the unit to make sure it's not damaged they had no problem with that. 3) PRICE: Unbeatable, $1,799 for 83" OLED??? Unless you ready to drop over at least $3k when they come out. One of my friend 5 years ago purchased 77 oled for $5k and i got mine 83" for $1,799 (anything bigger like 98" oled will cost you well over $10k). 4) QUALITY: before it was delivered for 5 days I was reading a bunch of reviews like qd-oled and brightest. Please disregard all of that, if this is your first OLED TV all this reviews not making any sense. This is the best technology ever. Five star to Best Buy & Samsung. -.5 star not having Dolby vision (but this is another story)
