You easily get what you pay for. I left a picture of the OLED and the QLED I purchased before this one. Can you guess which one is the OLED? lmao The picture is brilliant and blacks are true black. I purchased a few QLEDs before getting this one and it was an investment but none of the TVs could match the picture quality in dark scenes and dark backdrops. The QLEDs were brighter TVs but OLEDs are better. The only cons might be the sound on the TV but if you do not have a sound system for this beast you are doing this all wrong. Also, not being able to change aspect ratio on the TV if there are movies with black borders but the TV is already so big and in a dark room the black borders are pitch black and blend in with the room.

This television is absolutely incredible. The images are bright, and the black is as dark as when the television is off. I am a huge science fiction fan and I can’t stress enough the value of real black. The picture is razor sharp. Standard high definition looks great, but the 4K is unbelievable. I’m not a fan of smart TV functions. I have an Apple TV already and everything runs through my home theater system. I primarily use this television as a large monitor. I did find the settings that allow the TV to start in the last state that it was shut down in. So now it behaves just like my old television. The smart TV functions are still there, but I only have to see them if I want to. The speakers are typical for television speakers. I wouldn’t call them good but then again I don’t use them so it doesn’t matter to me. And I would suggest that anyone interested in good sound invest in a sound system. That goes for pretty much all televisions. I haven’t tried gaming on it yet, but I can’t imagine it being disappointing. There’s no flicker on anything that I’ve watched so far. Samsung has an anti-glare as well as an anti-reflection coating for various quality levels. I believe mine has the anti-glare which is a huge improvement over my old television when there’s sunlight shining on it. I bought this television purely for the picture and I couldn’t be happier. And one last thing, a free advertisement for Phillips Hue lighting. Synchronize to the television, four lights in the back, and six overhead. Really adds another dimension.

Before coming to The store, my Wife had already looked online for a replacement TV and wanted to do an upgrade from the previous Samsung we purchased almost 5 years ago. We wanted the same size equivalent - this being the 83” But the technology and picture Quality was the icing on the cake. The first thing we noticed is how amazing with this new AI technology works - giving deep black pixel's and how they pop out the lighter colors. I’m also enjoying the home screen which has a different shortcuts from our previous Samsung. For our local channels we use a (TV antenna) and it looks just as good - we enjoy watching football and movies. Everything on this TV looks absolutely fantastic! The TV settings were simple, I have a Samsung account online - so you’re able to transfer all your favorite TV settings and apps not to mention register your TV to Samsung. Another enhancement to our living room is how the TV is in sync with the Samsung Q series Sound Bar. The sales person at Best Buy I believe was the manager and was extremely knowledgeable about the different models - current & past TVs. I feel very lucky to have had someone answer all my questions and understanding the technology difference. I still have some more adjustments to do. The whole pattern on the back for mounting is smaller than our previous TV and prefer a lower view. This is definitely something you have buy or at least look at on the sales floor. You could easily see the difference.

Overall a solid oled tv for the price. My main concern is there’s some dimples on the panel so when the light is on it directly it warps the light. Also a better screen coating would be nice, but they reserve that for the higher end models.

Everyone loves are new TV. The colors and quality are spectacular! We never went to the theater a lot because our daughter in a wheelchair has difficulty getting into the seats. But now we have a movie Theater quality TV in our home, and everyone in the family loves it!

Get a Samsung Service Remote from Amazon and turn up the HDR and Brightness! Once you turn up the HDR and SDR on the S85F it mirrors the S90F! I purchased both tvs!

Purchased this Samsung a couple weeks ago. The pictures is unbelievable. I had a Samsung 85 inch Q8 lightning hit it. It was a phenomenal TV. all I got to say is this new TV Samsung is taking it to another level. It’s even better than the original Q8 I had may lack a little bit with only having two speakers, but it makes up for it and clarity in picture quality couldn’t ask for a better TV..

Amazing clarity picture, is like being live in person. I went in to buy an upgraded Samsung, guy tried to sell me a Sony, don't get me wrong nice quality picture, bit I had to go with the Samsung my go to. Picture is so amazing and beautiful vivid colors.

Love my TV, clarity, color surround sound bar and the excellent job the techs did hanging on the wall. They were patient with me and listen to me and hung it just like and were I wanted!!! Thank you

This was a really good deal, and the TV looks great mounted on my wall. The Geek Squad members did an excellent job mounting it for me in a timely manner. The resolution is better than I expected.
