Normally Id highly recommend Samsung SSDs but a drive that I recently purchased (I assume) was defective and caused a short or something leading to a SATA port, cable, and power cable being severely damaged. So as a result of this damage I’m too scared to damage anything else to recommend buying any of Samsungs SATA drives.

Could not Clone my new Samsung 2TB Hard drive using Samsung Magician or NTI using Win-7 or Win-10 desktop computer's to this new 2TB SSD. Also tried Acronis. Now none of my computers will even recognize the new SSD Samsung drive. It will not boot up either. This is the 2nd Samsung SSD that would not boot up after cloning. Three other Samsung SSD's worked fine for Win-Vista and Win-7 and Win-10. I will be returning this one to Best buy.

After almost two years it stopped working and my laptop ro s not boot up and even I removed from my laptop and connected to another laptop but my laptop does not recognize it. I lost a lot of important data. I need to recovey data now.
