Removing the tips to install ones that fit is really difficult... i found online after my tore that you should just pry the remaining piece off. I'm leaving this review to warm others you could end up with something that doesn't work if you pry the wrong thing. I'm including a picture i hope helps others understand where the tips actually mount and not remove the piece it mounts to like i did. I've purchased many other ear buds and never experienced so much difficulty...as only one side works i can not comment on the quality of sound or noise canceling... this is just a buyer beware.

The new Samsung buds are a disappointing step down from the previous model. The fit is exceptionally poor, and the battery life is inadequate. Furthermore, they seem to run warm, and the ambient sound setting significantly degrades the audio quality. There are even times when the ambient setting malfunctions completely, forcing me to disable it entirely.

Hey there GAlarco1, thank you for sharing your sentiments with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro. We value your candor as we improve the functionality and performance of our product line. Samsung offers a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. It's important to wear your earbuds properly for many reasons. You'll get better sound quality from them, they'll fit more comfortably, and they'll stay in your ears. Wearing them improperly can cause discomfort, sound leaks, and makes them more likely to fall out. As you know, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro come with different sized ear tips. The first thing you want to do is make sure they have the right size tips for your ears. You want them to fit so that there isn't a gap between your ear and the ear tip. This helps to avoid sound leaks and ensure optimal audio. Once you have the right tips on your buds: 1. Check the bottom of the earbuds for directional marks. You will see an L and an R. 2. Insert the R bud into your right ear with the R facing you. 3. Insert the L bud into your left ear with the L facing you. 4. Angle the blade slightly so that the microphone on the bottom is pointing towards your mouth rather than straight down. 5. You can adjust the buds by rotating them forwards and backwards until the fit feels right. You can also run an earbud fit test in the Galaxy Wearable app to ensure you have the proper fit. To run an Earbud fit test, 1. Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone. 2. From the Buds3 Pro screen, tap Sound quality and effects. 3. Tap Earbud fit test. 4. The screen will display either In ear or Not in ear. Make sure both buds are in your ears, and then tap Start. 5. The buds will chime for a few seconds, and then the app will display your results. It may say Poor fit or Good fit. If the fit is poor, make small adjustments and then tap Try again. 6. Continue running the fit test and making adjustments until you get a good fit result for both buds. If you would like more information regarding fit, feel free to check out "How to wear your Samsung Galaxy Buds3 and 3 Pro." While all of Samsung's earbuds are built to last the entire day, the buds' battery life and charging times may differ depending on the model you have and how you use them. The Buds3 Pro provide up to 26 hours of play time per charge, which can be extended to up to 30 hours with a fully charged case. Also feel free to check out, "All about your Samsung earbuds’ battery life," "Keep your Galaxy device at its normal operating temperature," and "No, low, or poor audio quality on Samsung earbuds" to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing. What a shame. Upgrading from the buds pro, i was excited to start using these. After 2 uses, the right bud WILL NOT CHARGE. I insert the right bud into the case and the case LED just blinks red and gives me a notification on my phone that the buds have stopped charging due to moisture or debris. They're brand new, theres no moisture, and no debris. I used the Samsung Members app to post and search about my problem. Moderators removed my post. Samsung is clearly trying to do damage control as I've seen tons of people with this issue. Its a shame because these headphones are incredible. They fit better, they sound amazing, ANC is top tier, the controls are nice, etc. These would be 5 stars in my opinion. But what good are they if they dont charge properly? Maybe i got a bad batch, but i'm hesitant to try another pair. So if you're reading this, be warned, you may get a great pair that charges, or you may be stuck with dead buds.

Great sound... when they work. Or when the case charges them. I had to return Buds2 Pro for a similar issue - the right bud stopped charging. Buds3 PRo had just come out so I grabbed them. Great sound! Cool features. Then within 2-months the right bud stopped charging and the case just blinks red. What's worse, a call to Samsung will be greeted with techs who don't know about the issue and just tell you to reset or bring the buds in for service. But one Google / Reddit search will show all the Buds3 Pro owners with the same issue. Namely, the Buds work for a few weeks then the right bud stops charging. Buy something else until Samsung gets their act together.

The only reason that I shop at Best Buy (instead of purchase through Amazon or direct with a manufacturer) is for the assurance that the product that I purchase will work for a reasonable amount of time under normal circumstances. In the case that something I purchased turns out to be defective, my understanding is that Best Buy would stand by the product they sold, support a loyal customer and replace the defective product for one that works. Best Buy would take on the hassle of dealing with the manufacturer to make things right. Welp, I was sorely mistaken. Best Buy is not the Customer Friendly organization that I thought they were. Last week, I was traveling for work and the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro earbuds that I bought on November 3 of last year (only 9 weeks prior) stopped charging and subsequently working. There were no instances of dropping them or misuse since their purchase. I thought, "It's okay, I bought them Best Buy, they should be able to take care of me and make things right." Fast forward 5 days when I'm back from my work trip. I finally have the opportunity to go to the Best Buy store where I purchased them (Maple Grove, MN) and get this defective product replaced. I was sorely disappointed. Not only would Best Buy not replace them, the manager said that if I paid $50 more for their Best Buy Membership, only then would they maybe be able to do something (but don't forget about the other deals that the membership comes with!!!!). This part I clarified. $50 more to Best Buy, only then would they help me. The manager that I dealt with was also a captain of hindsight reminding me that if I had purchased insurance, he could've helped me. VERY insightful, not at all helpful. I had purchased the last 4 generations of the Galaxy earbuds from Best Buy, all of which still work to this day. Let me reiterate something, I take care of my products. I should not need to purchase extra insurance in case a manufacturer sells a defective product to Best Buy. Best Buy should be there for their customers. This is not about money. The ONLY reason to shop at Best Buy, good and fair customer service, I realize now does not exist. Going forward, I will be purchasing everything directly from manufacturers if that's who I need to deal with in the case of defective product situations anyway. I'm writing this for Best Buy's benefit... I hope Best Buy rethinks the way that they refuse to support loyal customers (I could go anywhere to spend my money) because I'd hate to see more people go through this disappointing experience. I'd love to write more, but the manger at the Best Buy in Maple Grove, MN made it very clear (and again I had him clarify this), even though I bought the defective earbuds from Best Buy well less than 3 months prior, Best Buy will pass the buck to me and I must deal with Samsung by myself to get something that works.

These earbuds are the worst I have had from Samsung. The shape and size does not fit my ear. If I move or talk they fall out. If touch controls are on and I touch them to push them back in my ears they disconnect my call. They do not charge properly all the time. The case will be 100%, but the buds are dead after being in the case all night. To put it simply, they just suck. Poor design and poor functionality. I gave them a chance and now I cant even return them. They are now starting to lose connection for a second or so at a time - it reminds me of the sound CDs make when they skip (remember that??). For comparison, for me, the Buds 2 Pro were great - I had no issues with them. I dropped and lost those while travelling and needed a new set. I'm no audiophile, so I won't say whether the sound quality is good - but its good enough for calls and casual music or podcast listening.

There are the worst noise canceling earbuds that I have ever use. The sound is subpar compared to similarly priced models from Apple, Sony, and even Razer, the touch controls are rarely recognized and not intuitive, and the active noise cancelation's only noticeable effect is to make things sound worse.

Right earbud died and refuses to charge or pair to a device, and the case now refuses to enter pairing mode. This is a very common and well documented issue for the buds that Samsung refuses to acknowledge and even outright denies warranty claims for. If you'd like to own a nearly $200 paperweight then by all means buy these, if you care about your wallet look elsewhere as Samsung wants $180 to repair these buds once they die of a well known failure they refuse to admit is of their own lackluster QA process. Truthfully all of this is a shame as the buds themselves were actually outstanding while they worked, but having such a catastrophic failure this early into their life and being told by the manufacturer that this isn't their problem has turned me off of Samsung buds forever. *note* I would add pictures and videos of the error occurring but Samsung currently has these buds at their Texas repair center and will not return them unless they have their $180

If I could give it zero stars, I would. I love the sound, feel, and comfort of it, but the design is horrible. It stops charging after using it for a workout, and the case starts blinking red. On another occasion, the right earbud stopped working and wouldn’t charge. I changed it thinking maybe I bought a defective device, but the other one too was the same. Terrible device. Dont buy.
