Despite Best Buy trying to rush me into writing a review immediately after I purchased, I waited a couple months to get a better assessment of this phone. Overall I can't complain. Good camera quality, good sound quality, good Bluetooth/WiFi/cellular connectivity. Generally it's quite battery-efficient. They don't let one square mm go to waste on the phone display, which is kind of goofy and unnecessary but I suppose some people like that, having a camera right in the middle of the display. There are some quirks though. 1. This phone doesn't even come with a charger. This is the first time I had ever seen anything like it. They do include a double-ended USB-C cable hidden in the packaging, but the phone never recognizes it as a "legitimate" cable, always prompting me to use the "included" cable or check the connection. Luckily I actually found one available USB-C port, and at least I was able to get a couple normal USB-C to USB-A cables for very cheap, so I didn't have to go waste my money on a new charger because Samsung was too cheap to include one and uses this bizarre double-ended USB-C cable instead of a normal cable. It charges perfectly normal with those cheap off-brand cables and old phone's charger. 2. The vibration is incredibly weak. At first I suspected this was a manufacturing quality issue, but then I read that other people have this same complaint too, so it is actually a design error. This engineering mistake that Samsung made means that when the phone is on vibrate, I am very likely to miss calls and messages. There are many vibration "patterns" available and some help more than others, but all provide an unacceptable amplitude of vibration. There is the option to enable a sound with vibration but it only helps slightly. I'll still miss calls when the phone is in my pocket or right in front of me. 3. The initial battery saving settings were suppressing all notifications at first, until I fixed them. I had two voicemails and several text messages that I didn't find out about until the next day when I figured I'd better check my messages. 4. It would be nice if it had a SDXC memory card slot and a 3.5mm phones jack.

Just went from note20 ultra to the S22 after the screen on my note went black. I like the smaller phone now. It is even faster than the note20. Battery life is nowhere near the note 20 ultra, if you are on your phone a lot, make sure to have lots of chargers.

Got this for my son after he dropped his phone in the dogs water dish. He has been able to set it up and use it with ease. He like the camera on it.

I've had this phone for a couple of weeks now and I'm very happy with it. It's replacing a Galaxy S5 that I had. I liked the S5 because I could easily replace the battery when the time between needing to be charged got to under a day. Won't be able to do that with this phone, but right now I only need to charge it every other day. I'm not a heavy phone user, I use it mostly for phone calls and texting and a few apps. I don't surf the web with it or use social media apps.

Hands down better than any of my past iPhones! I will never go back to Apple anything! This phone is amazing and as a photographer I love the camera on this thing. I bought the Samsung filter adapter from Korea and now I can use my CPL and variable ND filters on my phone for much better pictures.

I LOVE this phone. It is an upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy S8 edge, and even though that phone was still working, it seemed to take a long time to open some apps, plus the screen was cracked. So I broke down and got a Galaxy S22. I am SO GLAD that I did. So much fast, and the Camera - OMG, did a Zoom meeting two days after I got it and everyone remarked how clear the picture was (put everyone else's to shame). And the process to transfer info from my old phone was really pretty easy, once I got an adapter for the transfer cable so that I could connect to my old phone that only had a micro usb port, unlike the USB-C that the new one has.

Still a great phone after two and a half years of use. Fast reliable and plenty of options. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone.

The battery does not last nearly as long as my last Samsung phone (S10). And the phone gets very hot if I don't keep it in the "battery saver" mode.

Really like the size of the phone, very compact and thin. Upgraded from a S20fe and really enjoying this phone so far. Great camera. Only complaint is the battery life.

Battery life is good but could be better. For the first couple of days, when the phone was being setup and initial use it tended to get quite hot but that problem didn't persist beyond the first couple of days.

Upgraded from a galaxy s10. Honestly wish I hadnt. Phone is small which is great for me, but has almost no noticable difference. Sound is decent, call quality is better then my s10. Camera is better for sure. Also, new to 5g and my service drops all the time. Doesnt matter where. Battery life is by far worse then my s10. Drains 25% in under 4 hours with minimal to no use. Overall, not really worth the upgrade, but I needed one badly. Its green too so hard to beat that.

It's a Galaxy. It's fine. Don't like the changes they made and something (like always) is running in background making battery low quickly, which is why I replaced my S10 in the first place It's fine.

I have had great luck with Samsung! But who was asleep when they built the S22! It is awful enough that after several months of suffering, I am taking it back! Problems: drops calls almost every time. Switches itself to speaker phone whenever it wants even if on hands free. Sometimes they hear me but I hear nothing. It works poorly with apps, even the ones it came with. The apps themselves aren't great and I have opted to download other text, calendar and notepad apps which it works poorly with as well. Voice to text works poorly, even sometimes cutting off the first part of a sentence later even when it showed up at typed earlier in the text. Frequently the text says "sent" but not "delivered" and the person never gets it and other text in the same time period go just fine. The phone constantly reorganizes my icons with no rhyme or reason. I need corded headphones to be HIPAA compliant so I had to buy a USB-C headphone/mic because there is no jack. However it is waterproof (and no these problems didn't start after I dunked it). It is a huge waste of money.
