Came from a Fold 3. This iteration is a good improvement over it. Starting with the Screens, the front stays mostly the same, it is narrow but that is perfect for swipe texting one handed. The inner screen feels different but only time will tell how long the protector will hold up as it did NOT on the Fold 3. Best thing I really the increase in brightness by 700 nits! The lack of bezels is also a plus. Hardware it self feels new and improved. Opening and closing is more secure but the crease looks the same. The gapless hinge is a huge bonus as now it allows for a slimmer profile especially with a case on, although I prefer caseless. A few things about the software/cpu. It is overall a lot smoother but that usually happens with a new release. The animations seem slow at 120hz but you can fix that by lowering to 60hz or opening Dev Options and removing them altogether for a faster feel. Having more apps show in the taskbar is useful for those who switch around a lot. This thing handles multi apps open like a champ without much heating. Games run without a stutter the battery so far gives me 6-8hrs SOT depending on my gaming habits. Camera is a huge improvement over the old Fold 3. Look at youtube reviews and see that it almost keeps up with the S23U in bright and low light, front cam and videos but falls short of the zoom, which I don’t plan to take pics of the moon so not a negative for me. Minimal blur and sharp images of moving objects is what I need and so far so good.

I wanted to use android together with my iPhone after not using android in a long while. I also wanted a phone with large storage capacity and screen. The Galaxy z fold 4 serves that purpose effortlessly. The camera quality is also incredible. The battery is also quite durable. The resolution is great

The perfect combination with it's narrow external screen fits perfectly in hand. Then when unfold it becomes one of the largest phones an actual tablet with the power and functionality of a computer. That fits in any of your pockets comfortably. Providing you with the power to communicate or multi-task in a very stylish form factor in any situation.

The telephone meet all the requirement of a foldable phone. The out side screen is sufficient enough to make me use it with one hand. Acutally, I like it because it is much ergonomics when I am making a call. It does not feel like I am holding a brick compare to those 6.5 screen phone. I am very satisfied with it that I wish the make one similar in height but a bit wider.

This phone is fast and battery life is decent. Its just a little too bulky for me coming from a RAZR but it is def awesome when watching movies on the screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 in Phantom Black is a true marvel of modern technology. I recently purchased it from Best Buy, and I couldn't be more impressed. The foldable design is the standout feature, allowing me to seamlessly transition between a compact smartphone and a spacious tablet with a simple fold. The Phantom Black color gives it an elegant and sophisticated look, making it a head-turner wherever I go. The 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is breathtaking, delivering vibrant colors and crisp details. Whether I'm watching movies, playing games, or multitasking, the display ensures an immersive experience every time. Performance-wise, the Galaxy Z Fold5 doesn't disappoint. With its powerful Snapdragon processor and ample 512GB of storage, it handles everything I throw at it with ease. Apps open quickly, and multitasking is a breeze. The camera system is impressive, capturing stunning photos and videos in any lighting condition. Whether it's landscapes or close-up shots, the Galaxy Z Fold5 delivers exceptional results. Battery life is solid, easily lasting me through a full day of use. And when it's time to recharge, the fast charging capabilities get me back up and running in no time. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 is a game-changer in the world of smartphones. Its innovative design, stunning display, powerful performance, and versatile camera make it a standout choice for anyone looking for the ultimate mobile experience. If you're considering purchasing one, I highly recommend it.

I have owned this phone for about 6 months now and I can say it is surprisingly durable and very well made. I used it for the first month without a case on it and it is honeslty not much thicker than a normal phone. It is definitely noticeably thicker once you ad the case as it is technically adding the thickness of 2 cases when it is closed. When looking into this phone I saw some people saying the outside screen being narrower than a normal phone is a negative but I honestly dont notice much of a difference. In fact, I probably uses the outside screen 2/3 of the time and the slightly narrow frame makes it a little easier to wield 1 handed. An added benefit of using the outside screen most of the time is the fact that my battery life is insane since there are 2 batteries in this phone. The very first thing that blew me away about this phone was the call clarity (Crazy right? A phone that makes good phone calls!?) My wife and I said almost the exact same thing in unison the first time I called her "woah, this call sounds so clear!" I came from a Samsung Note 10 in case that gives anybody a reference of quality. With this, I also seem to find that my reception is slightly better in remote areas (I no longer drop phone calls on a road I used to drop them on every trip, worst case they get robotic sounding for about 30 seconds). This phone has been great for watching videos, browsing the web, playing games, multi-tasking with the split screen option, and sketching out plans (with an S Pen I purchased separately). My only real negative about this phone is the fact it was over $2000. I was very fortunate as I went in and got it for $400 off on sale and they happened to have an open box of the model I wanted which took another $300 or so off of it. I was as happy as you can be paying $1300 for a phone (haha). The price and the fact I don't know how practical this much phone really is are really the only reasons I didn't give it a full 5 star review (maybe like 4.5). If I find this phone to last without problems I would be tempted to change my rating to a 5 star.
