This sound bar is a great addition to a Samsung QLED tv. You connect it with the included optical cable and the Samsung tv automatically finds it and directs the sound there. You can then control it from your tv remote. Just be sure when you set it up the Samsung name is facing up. It’s easy to be confused and point the speakers down and muffle the sound. You will know it’s right when you can read the display as you face the tv. Finally, try setting the subwoofer at different settings in your room. I like -6. It’s so powerful if it’s cranked up too loud it’s overwhelming. The “adaptive sound” setting seems like the best setting for balancing clarity in voice conversations while still having booming sound in music and movies.

Excellent sound, very easy to set up. I originally purchased an LG sound bar which I returned immediately (the TV speakers sounded better, yikes). This Samsung bar, however, is high quality and sounds way better than the TV speakers. The sub isn’t overbearing but definitely enhances the experience. The Bluetooth is also super easy to connect to. Highly recommend, especially at this price! *50in. tv in my photo for reference.

Incredible sound system for the price! Must have for a new flat screen Samsung tv, doubles as a sound bar for listening Bluetooth your favorite! I also have the 550 which is very good but you can’t beat this 450 for the price, I like that you can adjust the subwoofer bass on this one, it’ll rock the room with music or a good movie on the the set!! Can’t go wrong with this one!

This is a good sound bar, it wasn’t too expensive. It works great and is easy to operate. you just plug and play it. The Bluetooth capability is also amazing although I did experience a little bit of latency with a few devices.

Initially I couldn’t hear this system with my Samsung TV via Bluetooth. After connecting it through the optical cable the sound was just amazing the remote paired with my TV and the subwoofer gave me a theater like experience. Great buy.

Great for a bedroom, not too overbearing bass. Sounds great, much better than the basic TV speakers. Would recommend for the great price. Also bluetooth hooks up seamlessly.

impressive sound for the price, actually surprised me. the ONE issue I had is the speaker only works via bluetooth, the optical cable doesnt work. Thankfully the BT is seamless and works without issue but not ideal.

Bought this with our Smart tv and i couldnt imagine going back to the plain old tv audio. Makes the biggest difference to your audio quality and tv experience. You literally need this if you buy a tv from here.

I think it is a great bargain for the price you pay. I watched my Samsung TV with the original sound for about four months and as soon as I got this installed it was a huge difference. Itnow sounds like a mini theater in my bedroom.

Exactly the kind of quality, build, and sound I expect out of Samsung. Out of the box, it is packaged well, easy to set up, has everything needed to have a fantastic family movie night. Be the hero your family needs with this sound bar with wireless sub. The included optical audio cable makes the connection from the TV a breeze to setup. It includes wall mount brackets, which we didn’t use since our tv sits on our dresser, so the sound bar sits in front of it. The wireless sub can sit by the dresser and provide wonderful sound that fills the room, or next to the bed and feel that home theatre feeling as it rumbles next to us. Same would be by our living room TV and couch setup if we preferred, except that TV optical audio currently doesn’t work, so we tested on our newer TV. The system also has built-in Bluetooth, easy to pair as well, and ready to party in a matter of minutes. Overall the system feels durable, easy to read the display lettering on the front white leds that illuminate the sound choices. The sound fills the room and makes movie night all worth watching, and semi drowns out the kids, they never stop talking though. Better than our built in TV audio, and the sound quality we’ve been looking for.

Love this and now want surround sound speakers to add in my home

Defective and missed my window for return. Voice from sound bar goes out and only bass works needs to be disconnected to work again for a little while. Really disappointed.

This Samsung HW-A450 Soundbar is great. It was very easy to connect to my TV although I had to use the optical cable since my Roku TCL tv does not have bluetooth. It was a simple install though. It was also very easy to pair the subwoofer with the sound bar. The sound quality is much better than the sound bar I was previously using. I also like the clean lines of the soundbar and the fact that there are no obvious buttons or display. It fits perfectly in front of my tv and it was also easy to pair with my phone so that I can play music on it. This will be a great soundbar when I have guests over and want to play music rather than just watch TV. I am very pleased with the product.

Ive had the jbl 3.1 soundbar with a 10 inch subwoofer and It wasn’t as full and complete as this soundbar, yes it hit a little deeper bass, but this is powerful and sounds more accurate. Super easy setup super great sound. Dont get a bluetooth speaker get this. Bang for buck.
