It's supposed to be 1700 watts and it's not. It's not loud at all. It looks good and is well built. I exchanged it for the JBL 1000. It cost more but it's about 3X louder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The Sound Tower volume setting is effected by the volume setting of the device it is connected to. Please be sure to turn the volume of your smart device all the way up to have the best experience possible.

Bought this product hoping for a sound tower that would actually produce the amount of sound it said it would, was a bit disappointed in the output. Ended up returning
