[Employee of bestbuy] Love the sound from this. With speakers on 2 sides of the triangle, the sound is very wide. And with each side sporting its own sub, woofer, tweeter the quality is really good. Everything else is meh...., has only one cary handle, so hard to cary. Hard to roll on the wheels without it rocking side to side. And without a battery, your hard limited to where you can plug it in (2 prong, polorized?) The app is only good as a replacement for the remote. It can playback local misic, but no search function. You can set the lighting, but only to one of the few presets (and no color choice). Its also a little finicky to work. Ultimately i returned it. Just too narow a use case for me to use, even at the openbox+sale pricing i got it for.

Pretty nice speaker. Love the LED lights. The speaker is olenty loud but lacking in deep bass. With bass boost it is a bit better but for the price I kind of expected a bit more. However I do like the sound of the speaker otherwise. I returned 2 of them because was going to try and integrate into a DJ set up and I 3xpected a delay with bluetooth connection. The speakers had a delay similar to bluetooth even when wired which through timing off. JBL partybox does not have the delay when wired. I would recommend due to cool factor and amount of sound produced.

Starting off it looks amazing. As far as the sound it doesn't compare to my 1800 watt lg party speaker . Huge difference, close to 8 years I've had it and still knocks. It does not have a digital display for at least the volume. Good looking speaker but doesn't do the job. Very hard to plug in. It is on. Slant. I had to almost put it face down to do so. Not recommended.

When you are streaming to your Sound Tower check the app you are using to see if it has it's own EQ settings. If it does this will allow you to dial in the quality of the audio coming from your smart device.
Using the Samsung Sound Tower app will allow you to adjust the volume, lights, DJ effects, pre-set Sound Modes, bass boost and fully control the Sound Tower with a remote interface.

When you have your smart device connected to the Sound Tower, your device's volume will effect the overall volume. You will need to make sure that your smart device has it's volume set to the highest amount and this will increase the overall volume of your Sound Tower.

There are multiple ways you can optimize your new Sound Tower. Press the SOUND MODE button repeatedly to cycle through the available sound effects: PARTY, STANDARD, HIPHOP, EDM, ROCK, LATIN, HOUSE, or REGGAE. The default mode is PARTY.
You can also use the BASS button to boost your bass. Press it again to return to the normal sound.
We also suggest adjusting the equalizer that is in the source of your music, whether it be your smart device itself or the app that you are using to play the music from.
