While we liked the soundbar we ended up having to exchange it for a different brand as it was incompatible with our tv. We didn’t get the benefits of the sound system as a result and we often had to unplug the soundbar from the back of the tv to get it to connect. I would recommend this system if one has a Samsung tv.

It's a high-quality system. The biggest issue, however, is that it struggles on voices and dialogue even when you adjust the settings, in my opinion. It's exceptionally good at delivering movie-quality sound, the explosions, the rumblings of the ocean. But the sound of people speaking can become muddled.

Hi user375785,
We appreciate you taking a moment to review the Samsung HW-Q930F Soundbar. We value your feedback and will share it with our teams.
Here are a few tips to help improve the dialogue of your soundbar.
You can activate Active Voice Amplifier, which will break down the room noise so that the onscreen voices are always optimized. Also, switch the sound mode to Adaptive Sound Mode, which will analyze scenes in real time to pull out the most important audio based on the type of content.

Disappointed in bass even with it turned all the way up it’s not as good as my old soundbar the Harmon/Kardan SB16. I would have gone for the newer version however they were bought out by Samsung hence my purchase of this soundbar . Would have been better with a single 10” sub in my opinion. The rear speakers have a really short power cord so have extension cords handy if your like me and don’t have an outlet close to where the surround speakers are placed

Hello Nick,
We appreciate you providing your feedback and experience with the HW-Q930F soundbar. Please know there are a wide range of audio adjustments available to tune the sound to your liking.
You can manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (which looks like a gear), you can set the audio function such as Auto EQ, Spacefit sound, AVA, Voice Enhance mode, Night mode, Sync, Surround speaker mode, Virtual. The desired item can be adjusted using the Up/Down buttons.
Alternatively, you can press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons.
You can try quickly optimizing the audio by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or ADAPTIVE SOUND.
To control the volume of each speaker, press the CH LEVEL button on the provided remote. Then select CENTER LEVEL, SIDE LEVEL, WIDE LEVEL, FRONT TOP LEVEL, REAR LEVEL, or REAR TOP LEVEL. Once you find the channel you are looking for, adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
There are multiple ways to control the bass levels for your new Soundbar.
1) Using the WOOFER button on the provided Soundbar remote. Use the woofer button by pushing forward or pulling backward on the button itself to adjust the bass levels between -12 or -6/+6. If you want to reset the bass to 0 then push the button in.
2) When you press the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the treble or bass levels between -6/+6.
Alternatively, you can adjust all of these same settings and more within the SmartThings app. Download the app for your iOS or Android device and then connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. From here, you will be able to adjust all of the same settings as the provided remote, but with the added benefit of being able to see the changes on your smart device.

Not worth the price. The rear speakers are wireless which is very convenient but they do require a plug near by so not 100% wireless as advertised. Overall decent product just overpriced like all Samsung products.

Hi Jam23,
Thank you for taking a moment to review the HW-Q930F Samsung Soundbar.
Occasionally, customers have trouble hiding and running speaker wires from the front of the room (where their soundbar is) to the back of their room (where they have their rear speakers). The Rear Speaker Kit eliminates that hassle.
The “wireless” convenience is in connecting your soundbar and any other speakers at the front of the room to the rear speakers without needing to plug them into a power outlet.

The soundbar was loud, with the perfect amount of treble. However the bass in the subwoofer is way less than the q800F. It wasn’t my favorite but it’s a good price for someone else who this could work for

Hello CCinAZ,
We appreciate you taking a moment to review the Samsung HW-Q930F Soundbar.
There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize bass from the soundbar and subwoofer:
1. Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the level between -6 to +6. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button in.
2. Adjust the bass control by pressing the TONE CONTROL button on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics.
