I recently upgraded to the Samsung HW-Q930F, and while it’s not a bad soundbar, I honestly feel like the previous model (like the Q930C/Q930D) delivered a better overall experience. On paper, the Q930F has all the right features — 9.1.4 channels, Dolby Atmos, rear speakers, and a redesigned subwoofer () — but in real-world use, it feels like a step sideways rather than a true upgrade. The biggest issue for me is the sound tuning. Compared to the prior model, the audio feels less balanced. Dialogue isn’t as clear, and the overall soundstage doesn’t feel as full or immersive. The new, smaller subwoofer looks nicer, but it doesn’t hit with the same depth or punch as before. I’ve also noticed some inconsistency depending on the content — sometimes the sound feels thin or compressed, which takes away from the premium experience you’d expect at this price point. To be fair, it still performs well for movies and has plenty of volume and surround effects. But if you’re coming from an earlier Q930 model, don’t expect a major upgrade — and in some ways, it may actually feel like a downgrade. Overall, it’s a decent system, but I expected more. If you already own the previous version, I’d recommend sticking with it.

I dont have alot of experience with soundbars but I am impressed with the sound and the easy use due to being so compatible with my samsung tv. I bought and returned the flex core 200 because of constant handshake issue. The dolby atmos is impressive and the upmixing is pretty good for non atmos content. The app is straightforward making it easy to configure the settings. Lip syncing seems to be a non issue for most content but on the pc dolby atmos sound had some issues and required some work to address. To be fair I read that is an issue that affects other soundbars as well. Im giving it a 4 because I still have consistent hand shake issues which only once required me to reset the tv, usually turing it on and off fixed it. If your a causal you can go cheaper and be happy but I do see the quality l.

Great soundbar for the money. Awesome immersive sound from this Samsung Q930F soundbar. Subwoofer is ok but could be a little more powerful. Overall great product and great value.

When it is getting the full surround sound from the show it is awesome. Took a minute to figure out how to turn it on within the settings. Pretty solid set up, instructions could be a little better.

Connection was a bit tough at first with the blutooh connectivity. Took a bit longer than would have liked than the standard plug and play, multiple power cords also made set up a bit difficult but soun quality is good and fills the room with clear sound at all volumes.

Works well, just as advertised. Small problem with audio sync to video but somewhat adjustable.

Sound is phenomenal. Remote took a little time to understand it.

A bit pricey but works seemlessly with Samsung TV. Good sounds and easy to setup.

Great sound quality, Bluetooth strength for the sub to the bar could be better. Great sound though!

Very impressive for a soundbar. This is my second Samsung bar. The first I was not impressed. This I noticed right away that dialog in movies much clearer. I have no need to raise it above 14. I only wish hat the subwoofer would be heard more.

Loud. Loved the subwoofer new design. Sound is directed to you and with Q-Symphony it is just great. Paired with S95F. It might be that wired HDMI-EARC is a bit glitchy,. On PC I have constant loss of sound in auto mode. For now only solution found was to put Pass Through signal. And still it sometimes disconnects. Because of that I miss dialogues and that is quite frustrating. Great system, but glitchy software. Because of that you lose understanding of the price tag. Something you do not expect from a 6k USD setup
