Q: Are the UV lights in the cover and bottom of the device or on the ends?
A: on the bottom sides. no underneath lights so to have a 100% effective clean instructions advise to flip the item and turn it on again.
A: While UV light will cause the plastic to become brittle over time the cycle on this is only 10 minutes, it would take many years for this to even start to damage your phone. Think about how many times you have left your phone outside on a table or on the dash of your car, that will probably cause more damage than this will for the few years you will have your phone. A: What kind of phone do you have? I'm assuming it allows for wireless charging. Make sure you position your phone's wireless charging component directly aligned with the one inside the sanitizer. Also, if you're charging while sanitizing, I've read that your phone could move while inside. Try it again but pay attention to where your phone is after sanitization. And also just try using it without sanitizing and see if it charges. Honestly, this things doesn't sanitize. My wife tested it in her lab and the bacteria levels on the phone didn't go down after sanitizing. Returning it.
Q: Does this work for all phones
A: works on everything and anything that you can fit inside. My Samsung 10+ fits inside and has a bit of space. the note ultra 20 would fit in there i believe since it is not much bigger than the s10+

A: it's probably can, but whether its user serviceable or not I have no idea. I would recommend contacting Samsung customer service. For the price, I personally would replace it unless it's understandable warranty.
