British television drama Home Fires is a period series about the life of Women's Institute members on the Home Front during World War II. The series debuted in May 2015 to much acclaim. Inspired by Julie Summers' book Jambusters, the series has an average viewing of 6.2 million. The score was composed by Samuel Sim.
