I bought this, sept 2022. Not only did I pay double for it but now its also making my switch shut down. I only figured out it was the problem when I removed it. When I tried to put it back in, it got hot and shut my switch down again. I cant figure out who to talk to about it since im out of the return window. And the only "solution" I can find is to buy another one. Why would I do that when its worthless in less than a year?

Poor planning for massive sales, the order never was ready on Black Friday and they took two weeks for Best Buy to fulfill the order which came from Illinois all the way to Florida, I think the strategy is to make clients to give up and cancel the order delaying it deliberately

Please be informed that you are observing is the difference in the definition of one Gigabyte by Operating Systems versus all Storage device manufacturers. Operating systems use a binary system which will present a lower number of GBs than the decimal based system used by Storage Device manufacturers to define the capacity of products. This is due to the binary system representing a GBs as a higher number of actual bytes.
For example: Operating systems define a 1GB as 1,073,741,824 Bytes. Storage device manufacturers define 1GB as 1,000,000,000 bytes.
Also, you may research on the internet by reading tech blogs/ articles to know more about the same. For any other suggestions/ queries regarding SanDisk® products, please feel free to contact SanDisk Support and we would be happy to help!
I needed a SD for a Switch 2, and the person who helped me said that this one will work, but is only for Switch 1.

Just look out for prices before buying, it was not 229.99 and you're not saving money, you can find it on other places under 105. Legit places.
