This SanDisk USB drive is excellent! It is small, portable, and incredibly easy to use due to its lightweight design. It offers ample memory and reliably gets the job done for all your file transfer needs.

The device is convenient for bulk storing significant amounts of data. It can easily be used as a backup device. The write speed is extremely slow. The read speed is slow compared to other devices. Additionally, the USB 2.0 data rate imposes another speed limit (newer machines are moving toward USB 3.0 with its blue connector, but many older machines still use the older standard). The plastic slide feels cheap, and may break with use. The large capacity and cheap price make up for the shortcomings.

I bought 2 of these on sale. One was for myself and the other for my sister. These drives included files to set-up SanDisk Secure Access V3, which is good if you want to secure files, but it is not necessary to use the drive as unsecured storage. We did not know this. There were no instructions, so we assumed that you simply insert the drive and transfer files. That's the way we've done it with smaller drives. Well, you can do that, but upon first inserting the drives, different pop-ups seem to imply that the secure access is necessary, and we were prompted to set it up, which took a while, because the file on the drive was old, and buggy. We downloaded the appropriate files and eventually installed and set up the Secure Access. We each didn't think we would need it, I mean, I didn't buy the drives for the security, but we thought it may be a good feature...just in case. Had we known how much trouble it was, we would have simply forgotten it and erased any installation files. Well, every now and then, I test the "vault" out, but I am unable to put any files into it. I am given error messages, and none of the several methods to add files are working. I have considered re-installing the appropriate files from the website, but I really don't think it's worth the trouble. I will just have to be satisfied with the high capacity of this item.

This flash drive is perfect for all needs. It has the capacity to hold movies or other large files. It is very easy plug and play set up. Transferring documents from one source to another is fast and immensely simple to do. I would recommend this to anyone in need of a fast and inexpensive Flash drive.

Large files of photos are easy to transfer from one computer to another. I can also use it as a portable memory drive because of the large capacity. My only negative is the hole to attach it to a key ring restricts the drive to limited movement. Sale price was well worth it.

It does the job.. In the past I have had good luck w/ the ScanDisk products and this is as expected. Good. A good value. And better than getting a external USB drive, which are mechanical in nature, and will fail; moving parts do where out. Where the USB sticks you are just relying on the hardware memory. But backup to two USB sticks.. just in case one fails on you

The price was great for this item. I got it for under $20. It would be better if it was USB 3.0 but the amount of storage was too good to pass up. I'm very happy with my purchase.

As a Photographer you need A LOT of storage space these days. You want to give a customer Max Resolution Photos so they can cherish their memories forever. I picked up one of these Drives for a Baby Shower and it worked perfectly. I use the 128GB ones to give to couples after a wedding. I have always trusted Sandisk and use their Micro USB cards in my Camera also. I would recommend this to anyone who need a great drive. Sometimes it has problems with MACs just a heads up, but I use PCs. PS. Also if you want a faster transfer try one of the USB 3.0 drives also!

well-designed, compact, and self-contained. Even at 2.0, a good value for the money. I bought three -- two as gifts. A 3.0 model would have rated 5 stars.

I have used different brands (& sizes) of flash drives over the years. In the past when I synced more music onto a flash drive, the previously stored music would be deleted and replaced with the current downloads. I was extremely frustrated. Whether it was a setup problem or something else, I would not know since I'm not tech savvy. Now with the Cruzer Glide, I love it for the larger capacity & it's working the way I expect a flash drive to perform (& without the frustrations).
