I purchased this disk as a backup to another disk I was using for my Canon 7D. When I first inserted it into my camera, the camera didn't recognize the card but I figured it was just a fluke. I took it out and reinserted it and it seemed to work fine. I took several test shots, no problem. I went on a weekend trip and took many photos of the places we visited. When I returned home, I removed the disk and inserted it into my computer in order to back up the photos. This time the disk was not recognized by my computer. I removed the disk and reinserted it. This time an error message came up on my computer asking me if I wanted to recover the data on the disk. What?? I chose 'yes' and then I received a message that said there was no data on the disk. Nothing. Gone. No pictures or video. I ejected the disk, and put it back in my camera, thinking that maybe my computer was messed up. The disk wasn't recognized by my camera. After reinserting it again, the camera also showed a completely blank disk. Very, very disappointing.

They should tell you that most of the stuff that uses compact flash won't except a card with a 32 gig capacity. I was trying to use it to set up an hmi but it didn't recognize it regardless of the format Ended up just transfering via Ethernet cable and returned this card. Would be good if you had a camcorder or camera that used compact flash but I think that's about it

I used the disk twice in my camera and lost about 10% of my photos to corruption the second time I used it. The worst part was that these images were first time pictures of my mother seeing my newly adopted daughter for the FIRST TIME. I have contacted SanDisk and I will be trying to retrieve the images with a program they have. Disappointed is the least of the words I can come up with to use in this situation.

I purchased it in-store as "open box." Sure, I saved $10.00 but unfortunataly, the card would not format to my camera (Canon 5D SR). Again, unfortunatly for me anyway, going back to the store with any hope of them believing me, would be a waste of gas (30 miles each way = 60 miles). Don't buy open-box (certified by BB), used and disfunctional products. This was in the Ocala, Florida store. I just should have spent the extra $10.00. My personal experience... not a normal one... ;-)

I bought this to use for my first wedding as a photographer....I own smaller cards that don't hold as many photos.....I was shooting in RAW and JPEG so I didn't miss anything.I went home and uploading them on my PC.....thank goodness because the next day.My camera said error which it has never done and it told me to re format the card which erased my images.I would not buy this product again. It was the most pricey card ever and messed up right away...

Didn’t even make it through shooting for an hour before it had an error and wasn’t usable. If any pictures saved to this card they were lost. I was told to avoid the gold cf cards after purchase.

I've had this card for about 45 days. I've used the card twice on my camera. Now the card won't read in my camera and I've lost all my previous photos on there. Won't purchase this card again. Will try another brand.

Although I have not yet inserted this card in camera, identical cards in past worked very well. Service provided by Best Buy salesman who placed order was superb.

I'm sure it was fine. However, Best Buy sent the wrong memory card.

I bought this because there weren't any of the normal 16gb Extreme cards anywhere in a 100 mile radius. I shot with it on Saturday uploaded the pictures to LR on my Mac and when I put the card back in the camera it said no images on card. Recovered them with a recovery program and chalked it up to user error (although I felt sure I hadn't done anything). Shot with it again Sunday and the first 45 minutes of my photoshoot were not visible (again were salvaged with recovery program). I call Sandisk help-- they have been GREAT. paid for me to ship the card back and were replacing it with a 32gb Pro card b/c they were out of stock of the older Extreme cards and I didn't want one of the "new" cards again. They later called back and rerouted my return because they had since had more calls about this specific card failing. Once they received the card an analyst called to know exactly what happened, firmware of camera, OS of computer so they can try to recreate. Waiting to hear the results but beware-- there are issues with this card. They know and are working on it but it's been quite the headache. Used on a Mark 5D MarkIII

Do not buy this card if you plan to use in a DSLR. I purchased this card yesterday and went out and did a family shoot. Came home to import photos and was only able to import 43 out of 413. Before the import I could see on my camera after the import all of the images showed an icon that said cannot play image?. After researching I found this card has issues and bad reviews on every website I checked. Save yourself the hassle and buy the 16GB. Very disappointed at SanDisk and I hope that BestBuy will do some research of there own on this product before more people lose precious memories with these cards.

Used with my Canon 7D. The card failed on 2nd use and I lost over 300 pictures from the first 2 days of my family vacation. I have not used it since. Same issues as listed by other reviewers. I took pictures and viewed them on th camera, no problem. At the end of the day, I went back to view and only about 8 pictures were on the card, all taken at different times of the day and in no particular order. There were about 5 other files that were picture but would not display. I have owned over 20 SanDisk cards over the years and never had a problem but if you read through other reviews, there is obviously an issue with this card. I am very disappointed SanDisk has not pulled it from the shelves. As a result I have lost 2 days of vacation memories with my family that I can't get back.
