A: Yes, the flash drive is getting extremely hot, I have never seen this before. I remove if from the laptop as soon as I can, even though it is too hot to touch. I wonder how long this will last.

A: Yes, I use it all the time on my Windows 10 laptop.
Q: will this work from windows to mac
A: You can format it as exFAT which will work on both, or partition it one for Windows, and one for Mac.
Q: Will this drive work on chromebook?
A: Yes, it works on my Samsung Chromebook. And performs really well using the USB 3.0 port.

A: when I arrive at the store I already have the site pulled up on my smartphone to show them the item i'm wanting to price match, which makes the transaction move a lot smoother and fast, without any problems.
A: IPads do not have UBS ports, so not out of the box. According to the Apple site, you can purchase an adaptor if you want to use a USB external storage media.
Q: Can you switch it from a Mac to a Windows PC interchangeabley?
A: If the drive is formatted as an NTFS file type, then the Mac will not recognize it. As it is formatted from the factory, it can be swapped between both PC, and Mac with no formatting issues. However certain file types are not recognized by Mac, and in turn, some Mac files types are not recognized my Windows.
Q: I have iPad 2 , iPad mini and nesseary adapters . Will this drive function with an iPad ?
A: Having used an iPad for 7 years, I would suggest finding somebody that has the exact same adapters and iPad for sure. They can be temper mental about feeding power to a USB drive. Even when I was able to connect a USB full size keyboard and VGA monitor with an adapter, I never had success with a USB drive. I think memory cards for cameras draw less power and might be a solution if you don't get this drive to work. Good luck!
