This microphone is horrible. It is SUPER sensitive, and picks up tons of background noise. When placed on a person's shirt or collar and speaking in a normal voice it overloads, severely distorting the sound. In order to speak into it it without distortion you have to wear it on your belt or jeans pocket. Even then a loud word will still distort. I have never had any microphone this bad. I would have given it one star, but I allowed for how cheap it is. This is one case that shows you get what you pay for--very little.

Disgusting voice recording qualty. Zero noise reduction. Probably could work for the quiet room with the use of sound edition tools. My previous one worked excellent out of the box with zero adjustments. I thought it's now normal, but...no. Wanted to return it, just dodnt find time.

I really wanted to like this product because it's a simple plug and play that I was going to use with my phone. Sadly the actual sound the microphone records isn't good. Bad with wind, it's noisy, and audio records too loud/high. Maybe it was just this one particular one I got, who knows...

When I used it, it would always peak, even at normal speaking volume, turning down the input volume, and wearing it further away from my mouth. Turning down the volume would just make the audio ceiling -16db or whatever instead of 0db.
