Screen Innovations Pure Gray screen material provides reference quality color and contrast reproduction that performs its best in a light-controlled environment. This 0.85 gain material is mounted to our popular Fixed 2” velvet-wrapped frame giving a modern take on a classic projection experience.
Pure Gray is a 0.85 gain material. Also called a “negative gain” screen which results in overall reduced image brightness to achieve deeper black levels. While not to be confused as an Ambient Light Rejecting material, gray screens provide slightly better black levels than white screens to achieve better “perceived contrast”. Excellent for viewing sports, movies, and video games in light-controlled environments.
Fixed 2” frames are wrapped in a light-absorbing velvet material which is designed to provide a modern take on a classic projection screen experience and improve perceived contrast. Enjoy a long-lasting, wrinkle-free viewing experience thanks to our sturdy metal frame and proprietary material tensioning system. LED backlighting kit available – sold separately.
Our grit pattern has been managed down to 9X finer than standard projector screens. This ultra-smooth surface reproduces the sharpest images possible. Allowing for a flawless viewing experience with even the highest resolution projectors.
