Black diamond is a revolutionary material in the projector screen industry. Rejecting up to 90% of ambient light, the screen optics are engineered to reject light from every direction but the projector. Black Diamond gives you reference quality color and contrast performance, even in rooms with ambient light - Allowing you to get the most out of your projector. Screen Innovations ALR materials work for the room, instead of making the room work for the material.
The same optical filters that reject ambient light from above, below and both sides of Black Diamond also function to eliminate reflected light from spilling back onto the walls, ceiling, and floor. Not only does this create a more immersive dark room experience but eliminates the need for darkening these adjacent walls for the best experience.
Zero Edge frames are wrapped in 0.5” of a light-absorbing velvet material. The Zero Edge is designed to have the sleek appearance of a modern television. Enjoy a long-lasting, wrinkle-free viewing experience thanks to our sturdy metal frame and proprietary material tensioning system. LED backlighting kit available – sold separately.
Black Diamond grit pattern has been managed down to 9X finer than standard projector screens. This ultra-smooth surface reproduces the sharpest images possible with a projector screen. Allowing flawless viewing experience with even the highest resolution projectors.
