Capable of rejecting up to 70% of ambient light, this 1.2 Gain material is mounted to our Zero Edge velvet-wrapped frame. This material performs well in rooms with ambient light, as well as dark environments. The ALR properties help preserve contrast and color performance that would otherwise be affected by ambient light in the room, ensuring stunning and vibrant images. Screen Innovations ALR screens work for the room, instead of making the room work for the screen.
Slate is an optically based material which allows it to reject up to 70% of ambient light. The screen optics are designed to only allow light from the direction of the projector. Allowing a quality projection experience outside of the dedicated dark room by rejecting ambient light that would normally tarnish color and contrast performance with a white or gray screen.
Slate 1.2 Gain material boosts image brightness by 20% over neutral gain (1.0 gain) screens. Slate gives you reference quality color and contrast performance allowing you to get the most out of your projector, even in well lit environments.
