The V7 MC2 capsule is engineered to fit Sennheiser wireless microphone bodies, instantly giving you the acclaimed sound signature of the sE Electronics V7 dynamic microphone in a wireless setup. It is the ideal upgrade for performers who want studio-quality tone on stage.
The supercardioid polar pattern tightly focuses on the sound source directly in front of the capsule, dramatically reducing unwanted bleed from monitors and the surrounding environment. This focused pickup pattern delivers excellent feedback rejection, making the V7 MC2 an outstanding choice for loud live performance environments.
A specialized aluminum voice coil gives the V7 MC2 a lighter moving mass than standard copper coils, resulting in faster transient response and a smooth, detailed high-frequency reproduction. This design delivers the same refined sonic character that made the original V7 wired microphone a favorite among live sound engineers.
An integrated shockmount and internal windscreen work together to isolate the capsule from handling vibrations and reduce plosives and wind noise during live performances. These built-in features help ensure a clean signal even in demanding on-stage conditions without requiring external pop filters or shock mounts.
Built to withstand the rigors of touring and nightly live use, the V7 MC2 capsule features roadworthy construction that mirrors the durability of the original V7 microphone. The capsule ships in black and is compatible with the range of Sennheiser wireless transmitter bodies for easy drop-in replacement.
