Seals & Crofts were a Texas soft-rock duo that scored three big hits in the 1970s InchSummer Breeze,Inch InchDiamond GirlInch and InchGet Closer.Inch They disbanded in 1980 after the of their eleventh studio album 'The Longest Road'. The album opens with InchStarsInch, a heavily jazz influenced track featuring guest appearances from Return To Forever members Chick Corea on piano and bassist Stanley Clarke. The title track InchThe Longest RoadInch is an up-tempo catchy tune featuring great harmonies and a wonderful sax solo from Jim Seals. The final of the album is an emotional ballad called InchOne Planet, One People, PleaseInch with Dash Croft's signature mandolin melodies leading the way.
