The installation process was clean and simple and very fast. The installer explained everything about the functions of the alarm. Very happy with the best buy service.

The product works as advertised. Remote start, key-less entry. Have not had an alarm go off yet, but was warned it will be very loud. The installation at best buy however was very poor. This product was said to be a 4.75 hour install. They had my vehicle for 9 hours and we not successful installing it. They failed to follow up with me the following day. When I finally got a follow up appt at another store farther away - my hardware I had bought off the internet had been removed and not given back to me. The store I was at now for the installation did not have any in stock, so they asked for me to leave my vehicle there over night and come back the following afternoon to pick it up when complete. Several promises for compensation have not been met at this time either.

I m go to the installation service for remote start and alarm security in the bestbuy at Everett. 162 santilli Hwy. I drop my toyota highlander 2015 there install Model 2706v VIPER. and first day wait for 5 hours there. she tell me the car is broke. can't start the engine. and have to tow to toyota dealer to repair service. that is suck. and she are not say any sorry for me. she said did not touch anything. after the numbres 5 days I pick up my car and go to bestbuy again and finish the installation. wait for there again 5 hours there. done nothing. finally I have to tell him to take it out the viper. that is professional installation. it broke my new 2015 highlander. and take my car 5 days.

Bought this as my truck has been broken into twice. The Geek install team was fantastic and I love that the alarm alerts me via the key fob when it has been armed and/or set off.

The remote starter works great. I was not able to get the Keyless Entry in my car. Kinda silly, but it works good.

Viper remote start with alarm is a must have... can remote start, tell temp inside vehicle, visual display of time remaining, add more time, stop vehicle... poses as a serious theft deterrent... most definitely a product id recommend!!

Nick installed my alarm on the weekend even though they dont usually do it on weekends but because of my work schedule he worked it out and did an excellent job with the install and programmed it and showed me how to use its different functions. I will probably be back to have addons installed and will probably leave a tip if its allowed because these guys are pretty good at what they do.

I had a security system with remote start installed. My auto tech couldn't have been better

I made an appointment for a weekday 10 am alarm install, as well as time to address speaker trouble I was having (4 hours).. I was told to report 10 minutes early to check in with a geek squad rep, however, It was 10:10 AM before I was greeted. I explained all that I needed done and left my car until approx 5:30 PM. The Geek Squad rep had said he was alone and had gotten too busy and was only able to install the alarm, but had no time to diagnose speaker\ system trouble. I now have to take time out of my super busy schedule and leave my car with Best Buy again. I am happy with my alarm system and the overall demeanor of the Geek Squad rep.

The guys were very cool and asked me my preferences before starting. Install took less time than they quoted, and everything has been working great.

Installation was quick and comes with a lifetime warranty. I also like the fact if anything goes wrong with the unit theres no charge for them to replace it.

Removed a virus that I had on my laptop. It now works great, didnt know what else to do. I would recommend for those who dont have a back up

I definitely recommend this service , they take the time off to work with you and makes sure it is professionally done they also walk you thru to make sure u kno how to use the system installed

A year or so back I had a Viper remote start/keyless entry/security placed in my vehicle by the geek squad. I took it to the local Best Buy here in Lexington, SC, It was a great experience. The guys were super friendly, knowledgeable, and did a wonderful job. I have never had a problem with the system. I decided to get one put into my parents vehicle as a gift to them for their anniversary. It was scheduled about a week in advance. When we arrived to drop the vehicle off, the guy inside was helping another, and no problem there, you should at least acknowledge you have another customer. . This guy was beyond rude, annoyed that he had to install one, and mumbled so that you could barely could tell what he was saying. HE DID NOT LIKE THE FACT THE HE HAD WORK TO DO. It's a 4-5 hr job at the most. At six hours I called and asked if the car was done. He said NO....no other words....so then I asked if he knew when it would be ready....again....NO. Finally at the 9 hr mark he called me back. He asked if it was me and I said yes....then nothing. I finally said is it ready? He said there was a problem and it wouldn't work in the car. I was like it took you 9 hrs to figure that out??!! This guy was just plain nasty and obviously had no education, and no experience on how to treat customers. I called the manager who basically defended him, but apologized. I was sure to let him know when we picked up the car, about the geek squad's attitude. I've always shopped at Best Buy, but after this incident, will no longer go there. Too bad the guys that installed the starter in my car, were no longer there. They likely left due to their new coworker or so called manager. As a foot note, I found another auto shop here in town that did install it. .....and it went flawlessly!!! My friends at Best Buy just flat out lied.

Stated as a complex install (Las Vegas NV Arroyo location near 215) there were some errors made and even both sets of keys locked in the car the inconvenience and the missing of an important meeting even though they had six hours plus to do the Install scheduling a return visit 3.5 more hrs etc After the higher-ups got involved the manager made up for it besides a great install tech who was really concerned about my girlfriends experience as this was a gift and not an inexpensive install either making sure that it was all done right listening to any concerns and questions and also taking the time to show her how to change some of The functions i.e. how long Car will Idle after being remote started etc. Really making up for the prior issues and showing an earnest to make good with customer service and a genuine willingness to help That was really appreciated! longtime Best Buy customer will continue to be a long time client as well!

Best buy technician was very knowledgeable and could give me the exact out the door cost for my car on the phone itself. He also match the amazon price for DBALL2 which saved me another 50$. Highly recommended.

Great install everything works great. Installers were very nice.

The product is a car alarm and it does its job. My only issue is that one of the sensors had to be placed under my hood which prevents it from being flush. The service from the install guys was super rad and I don't think I could have had any more knowledgeable people helping with alarm. They rock.
