Sound quality is top tier (with the use of the app, else it sounds flat out of the box). Sound quality is clean, spatial, and full. It feels like the singer is singing right into my ears. Each instrument is well balanced and placed; no instrument overpowers the other. ANC is very good too. I cannot hear the loud construction that's right outside. I come from the Skullcandy Crusher Evo which is specialized for bass and percussion. The bass and percussion on the M4s are exceptional, but are not as impactful and intense like the Evo's. This shouldn't be a concern for most listeners, but this is something to consider if you have a preference for bass and percussion. This isn't a dealbreaker but the sound quality is the best at high volumes (> 80%). Thankfully the ear pads are soft and comfortable. But wearing these for several hours at > 80% volume is definitely not recommended for the sake of ear health (which is obvious common sense for any headphones). My main deal breaker is I can hear more from my right ear. I wore the headphones backwards and could hear more from my left ear. The stereos are slightly angled, so the sound is the clearest when my ears are closer to the stereos. Regardless of how I wear it or what I listen to, I still can hear more from one ear. I checked my settings and nothing looks off. Other than that, I recommend the headphones for the A+ sound quality, 60 hour battery life, exceptional ANC, and comfortable ear pads.

Absolutely love these headphones — the sound quality is rich and balanced, with deep bass and crisp highs that make music, podcasts, and movies sound amazing. The adaptive noise cancellation works great in busy places, and the battery life is insane (up to ~60 hours). They’re super comfy for long sessions. A few people mention touch control quirks, but overall they’re a premium buy worth it.

Sound quality is phenomenal. Super comfortable for long listening. The charge last forever, I’ve used mine daily for multiple hours on end, and only needed to charge once in 3 months! Only (very picky) critique is that the sound seems to come out of one ear more than the other.

The build quality on these headphones is absolutely great and does not feel like plastic, the cups and the band are also really comfortable and nice. The sound cancellation has room for improvement but its nothing short of good. What these headphones really shine in is their sound quality, one of the best i’ve experienced from mid budget headphones. The range of the sound and 3D quality is really great, and can of course be adjusted in the app. However I do have some trouble using the touch controls on the headphones sometimes. Overall some really great sounding headphones.

These are my first audiophile headphones and they do not disappoint. They sound absolutely amazing for music, movies, and video games. The battery life and charging time is outstanding as well. The only two real issues I have (one being a major design flaw) with them is how long you have to hold the power button to turn them on and off (about 3-5 seconds) and the headband material. The material looks great, however, it is only tucked into the band on top of the rubber headrest, so within the first 1.5 years it started to come out and I had to carefully out it back in. Now just as of 2 days ago (06/08/2025) the back side of the material came out and I couldn’t get it back in so I had to rip it all off which ruins the simplistic beauty of the headset. This is not covered under warranty and is something that can simply be fixed with strong glue during the manufacturing process which could have kept this issue from occurring, and it will 100% happen to yours. Otherwise these are outstanding. Attached are photos of the headband material that came off.

Amazing quality of sound and comfort. The app features allow for a good amount of custom sound tuning. Personally would perfer them to get a little louder.

I’ve been using the Sennheiser Momentum 4 for a while now and I’m really impressed. The sound quality is excellent — clear, detailed, and well-balanced — and the battery life is honestly crazy, I barely have to charge them. They’re comfortable for long use and great for travel and daily listening. Noise cancellation is good, not the absolute best, but value for money compare to Bose ultra QC and Sony XM6 is great. This is solid competitor headphones and definitely worth it in these category

Returned Sony WH-1000XM5 and bought this. As others have mentioned, there is Bluetooth connectivity issue. Sometimes, it would just disconnect while listening. Sounds great, I like it much more than the Sony and the battery life is amazing. I bought this knowing there is a Bluetooth connectivity issue. It’s not a deal breaker for me.

If you’re looking for a pair of headphones that never run out of battery and have great noise cancellation, get these. My experience. I was initially impressed with the long battery life and quick charge of 30 minutes that gives several hours of charge time. I have use these for 2 to 3 weeks in a row without having to recharge which is extremely handy when I’ve got to jump on a plane and travel for four hours. I spend multiple hours flying on planes every week and in my experience these have Great noise, cancellation even when I’m sitting right on the wing, I can’t hear the motors running. The only issue I have experienced is my ears tend to get tired if I wear these for too long and I don’t have the proper ear positioning. I do have slightly larger ears than most, so that could be A problem if you do have larger ears as well. Overall, I’m satisfied with this purchase. I just wish there was a little bit more room for my ears.

The Momentum 4’s are pretty good the sound quality is good expected from sennheiser a little base heavy to my liking though, the “smart control plus app” is very complete with a 5 band EQ, battery is excellent with its 60hrs, build quality even though is all mostly plastic is a really thick and solid one (except the headband which is a really premium fabric) but thats also one of its main problems because they are too heavy for my liking and the clamping force is pretty agressive the headband makes to much pressure on my head and the cups to, the connectivity is solid except on windows PC's they have a weird static noise issue but is solvable with a regedit command related to the AAC codec besides that they're good just be aware of those things. I ended up returning them and bought a pair of bose qc ultra's because they are way lighter, comfortable as the name suggest and also to everyone's surprise less bass heavy with better instrument separation and better anc, ofc i had to sacrifice the 60hrs battery life, usb c audio and 5 band eq of the Sennheiser but for me sound quality and comfort goes first so it's worth the trade of features.

Excellent sound quality, very good strength and quality of materials. I think they are the headphones with the longest battery life. I don't give it the 5 stars just because of the size of the pads for the ears, for me they are small.

These are some great headphones. Primarily use for gaming. Had a pair of Bose qc35s that I used for 2+ years. They were good. Lightweight, could wear them for hours without feeling them. But there was zero bass. These have lots of bass. Technically not as much as the xm4’s, but I think these do a better job. The audio signature and bass of these won me over over the Bose. If you care about those things and you’re using these for gaming on a 2.5mm Jack. Look no further. The reason I’m giving these a 4 out of 5 is because I do feel them after an hour or so of gaming. If they had the weight/ feel of the Bose these would be one of the best headphones for gaming.

It is great product and very comfortable, but the noise cancelling is not as good as Sony or Bose, the sound is good one of the best sounding headphones out there, another defect in my opinion is that the volume up and down when using the touch pad is not sensitive enough, what i mean is that when I go volume up or down it skips 20% all at once meaning it goes from 80 to 100 and the same the other way around, if you need micro adjustment you have to use the phone or whatever device you have them connected to. But besides that they look and sound amazing.

The Momentum 4s were my first pair of upscale noise-cancelling headphones, and they were really impressive at first. Music (especially hip-hop) sounds crisp, and aesthetically they're really good-looking. Unfortunately, they weren't comfortable for more than an hour on my head, and there were constant pairing issues. I'd turn the Bluetooth on on my iPad or phone, then turn on the headphones, and it'd say "connected," but would just pause whatever I was watching instead of connecting. I'd then have to go in and manually connect from the Bluetooth settings. I'm also doubtful that these really hit 60 hours. I've worn them for about a week without charge, but I only use them a couple hours per day, and it's already at 30%. Good, not great phones in my experience.

I like the sound profile, quality, the build quality, and how it have Bluetooth plus still could be wired. The annoying part that make me give this 4.5/5 is the Bluetooth connection that are a little bit tricky, sometimes there are crackling noises from unstable connection. But overall, the most important part for me is the sound profile, sound quality, and build quality so it's still a 4.5/5 nonetheless. I'd recommend if you're not going to be *really* annoyed with the meh Bluetooth connection

Love these for their sound quality either with Bluetooth, or wired and very slim profile for transportation in the carrying case. I have other headphones for home listening and mastering music, but these will be the travel set I use, the wired connections allows me to monitor microphone levels for field recordings. The two things I find a minor annoyance? As soon as you pick them up they turn on and try to connect to the last device and when pulling one side off your head to hear your surroundings it pauses the playback. I'm sure there are ways around these defaults, just haven't delved enough despite having them for a few months.

The sound on these cans are exceptional. The noise cancelling isn't as strong as Sony or Bose, but I'd say it's like 80-85% as good. Instrument separation in music, (especially rock and rap) is amazing. Definitely recommend.

The headphones sound great and connect easily and the battery life is awesome. The only issue I have with these headphones is the active noise cancelling isn’t all that great.
