4.5 stars if I could. Having previously owned the gen1 Momentums, these have come a long way and I'm overall pleased with them. Only one big gripe which I'll detail. Sound: I personally find these worthy of the Sennheiser name. They probably won't knock your socks off like some high-end IEMs but the sound is solid with sparkling highs, clear mids, and satisfying bass. Everything comes through. The in-app EQ has also come a long way in allowing you to really tailor sound to your preference. Noise Cancelling: This is decent. I think the silicone ear-tips kinda work against them in the noise cancelling performance however. I really prefer the foam tips that I previously had on my Sony xm4s which did a little better at blocking out train noise and chatter around me. Battery: No complaints here. Battery life seems as advertised. Only time will tell if the batteries in these last for more than a couple years though. (unlike my Sony xm4s) The app features an optional battery health mode which restricts the case and buds to charging up to 80-90% respectively. Charging all the way to 100% will cause the most wear on your batteries so I appreciate this feature. Fit/Comfort: These fit my ears just fine but again I find myself missing the foam eartips I previously had. Sennheiser has added an additional size of tips as well as different wing shapes that can help stabilize the bud in your ear but I never have issues with them falling out. They're comfortable enough to wear for a few hours. Case: Wireless charging is greatly appreciated and it looks pretty with the fabric. However, I'm quite frustrated with the dimensions. I can't believe they are now on gen4 and still have this case that is way too thick. It's like packing a sizeable rock around in your pocket and gets annoying as soon as you want to walk anywhere. They slightly shrunk the case length-wise but that's the only difference between this and the gen1. The charging port also shouldn't have been moved to the front. I find myself trying to open them on the wrong side now because it more closely resembles the hinged side if I'm not looking closely. Quite annoyed with the case overall which is mainly what keeps these from being a 5/5 for me. App: It's decent. No issues with connectivity so far and I like the EQ and battery life settings. I use the buds with a Pixel 7 and they pair quickly with no skipping.

These are by far the best sounding wireless ear buds that Ive experienced thus far. These give details that I had previously missed in ny past years of streaming. Granted, most of my streaming experience has been using apple products... The stage is in your head with the TW4, and the layering is close though you can still hear the separation and quality of detail. They arent the most comfortable which kind of steps on the experience as after a few hours youll want to take a break. I would have been able to survive with that, though the reason I'm returning them is due to the intermittent connectivity issues especially when using both earbuds. I usually have one in while driving or working and will experience no issues as it's usually audible/youtube/podcast while driving and music while working. Though once i get home and want the personal immersion of quality music the right earbud is the culprit to either crackle or completely cut out the streaming but remains responsive to touch input. I notice that its usually when the codec is switching between aptx adaptive and "lossless." I know that hi-res can be unstable or unreliable with bluetooth, but I wonder if these would have more stability if they were using LDAC over aptx. The sound is worth the premium, but the connectivity issues kind of negate that. Im using a Motorola Razr ultra 60 at the time of this review (just incase time reveals that the issue maybe phone BT connectivity). Overall, they bring music to life... When they work.

Very shocked i have been through a lot of earbuds, expensive ones and cheap ones and the ones I stopped on where the Sony W4 and W5s earbuds and i wanted to just see if these could be even close and I've got to admit i got them on 12/28 and today is 1/4/25 and im not taking them back so believe me when I say im 1 of those people that will take something back in a heart beat if it doesn't work just as good if not better than what I've got, needless to say they are worth it or at least a shot

I was incredibly excited to review the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 earbuds, and for the most part that excitement has stayed pretty high after a week with these earbuds. I've reviewed a lot of earbuds over the last few years and I would easily place these at the top in terms of comfort and sound quality. While they are not perfect, I don't think anything is a dealbreaker but I'll detail below. #First impressions# Unboxing was pretty unexciting for the Sennheiser Momentum TW4s. I tend to think that top brands sometimes spend less time thinking about cool packaging because they feel their product speaks for itself. That might be true here. There aren't any cool little pouches or even a decent organizer tray included for the extra earpads and stabilizing loops, but I have a nice little bin for this stuff in my desk drawer. The actual case for the headphones has a VERY cool feel, a cloth/nylon type covering. I immediately set it on my wireless charging pad and let it wake up and top itself off. #Pairing/App/Extra Features# Pairing was super easy. The earbuds won't wake up until they've been connected/placed on a charger, which isn't that weird these days. Once that was done, they easily connected to my S22 Ultra. I downloaded the recommended Smart Control app and found it to be functional if a little light on features. No volume limiter, no Atmos. After that initial impression I've ended up deciding that the app allows for pretty serious customization for the earbuds beyond what other brands are including. You can customize normal stuff like the EQ and ANC, but also can change the touch controls and easily change the codec to maximize your sound quality. I found the Lossless audio worked better with my phone as the S22 Ultra wouldn't connect at 24bit as indicated with the "High Resolution" option. I really like that they give you a battery protect mode as well. Too many of these earbuds get worn out in less than 2 years. #Sound# Fantastic sound quality. A very warm sound that was surprisingly open for ANC earbuds. In the aptX Lossless mode, I can pick out some details that bluetooth compression usually crushes especially with acoustic music. Bass is exactly what I hope for in a set of higher end earbuds - tight, hard-hitting, but not tuned to be loud enough to drown shortcomings. Overall the sound is just exactly what I was expecting from my experience with traditional Sennheiser headphones. These stand quite a bit above the other premium earbuds I've used in the last few years. #Detractors# I've already mentioned the lack of an included/integrated organization system for the extra earpad sizes and stabilizers, although that is kind of a minor deal to me. A bigger problem is the size of the case itself. It's unnecessarily huge. Out of 5 earbud sets that I've used recently, the Sennheiser case has the hardest time fitting in my pocket with a single car keyfob alongside it. It's the thickest case of the earbuds I have on hand, and close to the widest and longest. The earbuds themselves are large but still comfortable, so that explains some of the case size. Problem is, the case is large enough that it's made me consider continuing to use earbuds I like less when I go to the office just because it's so big in my pocket. That's despite the fact that the Sennheisers are more comfortable, sound better, and do a much better job at noise isolation than any other earbuds I have for the office environment. For those with bigger pockets or another way to carry the case (or no car keys) then I'm sure the case is fine. I'll attach a photo with this review comparing to others I have. #Conclusion# An excellent set of earbuds at a premium price but with the premium comfort and sound quality to justify the price. Just a bit big in your pocket.

I love these earbuds but they are overpriced and the charging case hinge is very flimsy.

TLDR: Laid back & easy going. ANC needs work to make them excel. FEATURES USB-C / Wireless Qi Charging Capability Active Noise Cancellation Up to 7.5hrs of Playback per Charge / 30hrs with Docking Station Latest Bluetooth 5.4 support with Auracast and LE Audio support Supports Lossless Audio Playback INTIAL CONFIGURATION Initial configuration via the Sennheiser app is a unique experience with Sennheiser’s twist on the market. It works well for the most part but is not as user-friendly and convenient as Sennheiser’s competition. One exceptionally nice feature of the Sennheiser set-up process is the test fit and initial tuning built-in to the app. The app helps the user get a better initial experience with their purchase, guiding them through a series of audio clips, helping to tailor the sound profile to his or her liking. The app plays a combination of instruments, representing the low, middle, and upper ends of the listening spectrum (not absolute limits, just the sweet spots). The user merely adjusts a series of sliders to make the pre-selected track sound to them. It is simple and easy and goes a long way to help get the initial set-up dialed in, reducing the amount of fiddling and tweaking. One thing I don’t like is that Sennheiser requires you to create an account with them to use and create the tailored sound profile described above. Failure to do so renders the customized sound profile useless. This is an unnecessary way to get people to sign up and is the ONLY vendor I have that requires you to sign up and register your product to activate the profiling feature. Out of the 9 other vendors of headphones and ear buds I use, none of them cripple their apps and product in this regard. I’m sure Sennheiser will claim that doing it this way carries your preferences from one device to another, but for those like me, my sound preferences on my Android phone are different than my iPad. In keeping with the audio configuration, another huge miss is the adjustment process after initial set-up. The app does not allow you to configure your sound preference on the fly. To make changes, the app stops your current playback and resumes Sennheiser’s pre-selected track again. You make your tweaks and once confirmed your playback resumes. If you don’t like your changes, you must repeat the whole process over again. I would much prefer to make on the fly sound adjustments with your currently playing track versus bouncing back and forth. While Sennheiser does allow for on-the-fly adjustments via a 5-band equalizer, having both options seems redundant and unnecessary. AUDIO QUALITY As with any audio product, perceived audio quality and reproduction is always subjective and often controversial. In my use of the product, the Sennheiser’s are the Jeff Spicoli of my current ear buds and headphones (kudos to those of you who instantly recognized the old-school 80’s movie reference). The True Wireless 4’s, much like the iconic movie character, are easy-going and laid back without a care in the world. These are, by far, the most laid-back and warmest of any ear buds I have. Not that it is a bad thing. It is something the user must hear for themselves, especially if auditioning them side by side with a competitor. While I have several sets of ear buds and headphones that are tonally much more neutral than the Sennheiser’s, there is something to be said for the TW4’s audio reproduction. It is soothing and not brash or harsh in any sense of the imagination. Not to say they are inaccurate or lazy, they are just warmer and don’t go out of their way to be the ultimate in sonic clarity. It is a refreshing change. One area that I need to give Sennheiser credit for is their use of the entire audio spectrum. The TW4’s can extend down to the limits of the audible spectrum at 20Hz. Many leading competitors’ products only go down to 40Hz. The added depth and dimension of the TW4’s are immediately noticeable. While the Sennheiser’s roll off after 10kHz, as do most, they can still hang with the best at the top and bottom end of the audio spectrum. Again, kudos to Sennheiser. If you are bass head, these deserve a look. No other ear buds I have in my collection can reach the lower limits as well as the TW4’s. NOISE CANCELLATION This is the one area the effectively holds the True Wireless 4’s back compared to its competitors. These ear buds are unable to effectively drown out ambient noise. Noise from a room air conditioner, mini-split, plane, car, etc. just isn’t subdued enough. I will fully admit that when I travel, there are times that I don’t want anything playing in my head. Times when I just want to put in my ear buds or put headphones on and let them drown out the world around me. These Sennheiser’s can’t do it. They can muffle it to an extent, but compared to nearly ALL Sennheiser's competition, their ANC technology is sub-par. However, with a good fit, playback can be enjoyed, and outside noise is often dismissed and/or diminished, being lost in the background. But it is not forgotten as it will immediately rear its ugly head as soon as a quiet passage in playback comes on. STREAMING QUALITY I experienced no issues using the TW4’s with either my iPad or my Galaxy smartphone. Bluetooth transmission distances easily reached at least 20 feet with no dropouts, even when listening to the high-resolution audio transmissions. What is worth mentioning is the quality difference between the Android and the iPad. The Sennheiser’s use Qualcomm’s S5 chip. This chip, or its ancestors, are included with several Android-based phones (especially from name brand manufacturers). Because of this, Android users will see the biggest benefit of Sennheiser’s use of Lossless and Bluetooth Adaptive AptX codecs. My Galaxy phone easily allowed me to switch between Bluetooth quality streams, where my iPad must make do solely with Apple’s AAC codec. I know some will point out that the AAC codec can supposedly rival the other lossless codecs, but in my experience, in this implementation, it does not. This AAC implementation is lossy, hands down. CALL QUALITY The TW4’s call quality is equally as good as any other premium player on the market. Call quality has progressed far enough that it is hard to pick which manufacturers do the best job at audio call clarity. The Sennheiser’s are no exception. Call quality was clear and intelligible with no dropouts. Callers commented that I was easy to hear and understand with decent ambient noise cancellation. FINAL THOUGHTS Even with their faults, I am thoroughly enjoying the TW4’s. I find myself using them more than other headphones or ear buds in my collection. While I, at times, want the best of the best in terms of accuracy and transparency, there is just something that keeps bringing me back to the Sennheiser’s. I find their laid back and easy-going nature soothing and stress-relieving. When the TW4’s were initially released, they did not support LE Audio or Auracast. These features were added later via a firmware update. I say this because I’m hoping Sennheiser continues to refine their firmware over the product’s lifecycle and improve the noise cancellation. It certainly needs it. If I were a frequent traveler on public transportation (whatever it may be, bus, subway, plane, etc), especially if I owned an iPhone, these would not be my first choice in ear buds. There is too much left on the table that Sennheiser’s competition does better. As an Android owner, these would absolutely be toward the top of my list, especially if I used them most of the time in ambient noise-controlled environments. RECOMMENDED

I am a little conflicted while writing this review, because on one had these are very good earbuds, but on the other, they are not. I will do my best to explain. First of all, from the moment you take these out of the box you know they are a premium product. They are built well and they thought of a lot of design elements such as wrapping the case in a gray mesh cloth so its softer to touch. Including an array of different size ear tips and wings to help you get the proper fit. Getting them paired to the app was a fairly easy process and there are a lot of things you can try in the app to enhance your listening experience. For starters they have a 5 band EQ, I would hope they would have at least a 10 band, but 5 is all you get. There is another option where you can tune the buds to “your sound”. Basically they play a bunch of clips of music and you adjust the levels of duitars and drums and such to supposedly tell the ear buds how you like music to sound. Then you have a large graph show up on the screen where you can supposedly fine tune that sound. I found this to not work that great for me. First of all, the style of music they have you tune the buds too is not even close to the style of music I listen to. So, I am unable to tell it how I like to listen to the style of music I like. Secondly, when you go to fine tune them, you still can’t listen to one of your songs, you have to listen to a predetermined track to adjust them. Then go back into your music service and listen to something you want to. Then go back to the fine tune and try to adjust. Then go back to your music app. Its quite a maddening experience. So, for that reason, I just stuck with the 5 band EQ and I was able to get much better sound that way than messing around with the personalized experience. Next, I will get into the fit, which is where I have the biggest problem. Whenever I put these earbuds in it takes me a very long time in order to hit the sweet spot where most of my ear is sealed so I can get the best sound. I tried all the different tips, all the different wings in all the different combinations and I still struggled every time I put these in my ears. I like to wear these when riding my bike so I was excited to try the wind noise blocking setting on them to see if it would help. The problem was that I could never get a great seal or fit in my ear so wind was still getting in. Maybe including some foam tips would help to get a better seal in the ear canal instead of the typical rubber ones that don’t really conform to your ear easily. On the occasions when I was able to get a good seal on the ear, these sounded fantastic! So that’s why I’m a little conflicted in my review. Under the right circumstances and in the right ears, these sound amazing! I was getting a good balance of bass, mids, and treble and everything sounded very crisp and clear without being too overpowering in any aspect. I mostly played hi-res music files from my phone, but I also tried Spotify and that also sounded great. I found the noise reduction to be pretty much on par with most other earbuds. It does a good job of blocking out a lot of noise around you, but you will still be able to hear things during silence in your music. I found all of the touch controls to work very well also. You can set them up in the app to pretty much do anything you want then you tap the earbud one, two, or 3 times and also when you hold your finger on it for a couple seconds. So you can easily customize these to your liking. The battery life was fantastic as well. As usual, the case also has a battery in it so it will charge the earbuds whenever you put them back in the case (as long as the case is charged). The case also has wireless charging which I love, so you don’t have to mess around with cases. So, overall, these earbuds are great and they sound fantastic. Just know that you may have a problem getting a good fit for your ears and that may cause you to struggle with them.

[PROS] Sturdy build quality: The case and earbuds themselves are thick, but not overbearing. The case is durable for portability and covered in fabric that is pleasing to the touch. The earbuds themselves are plastic, but still with a premium feel to them. Strong audio fidelity: Out of the box, I was highly impressed with the quality. Before tuning, the default profile seemed to have a higher emphasis on vocals in my opinion. Yet, I was able to adjust them to highlight the nuances of different genres that I would listen to. Excellent Transparency (Ambient/Hear-through) Mode: For me, this an extremely important feature. I want to be able to control the amount of outside noise I let in just as much as I want to filter out the external environment through ANC. Through the Smart Control app, I'm able to use a slider to amplify my environment to my liking instead of the typical three low, medium, and high options. It works so well that the performance has exceeded that of many over-the-ear headphones that I own. Strong Battery Life: I'm able to get hours upon hours of usage out of my earbuds regardless of which mode I have enabled. I'm usually using the Transparency mode at its maximum level so I can be present around others, but listen to other things as needed. What's even greater is that I'm able to cap the charge level at 80% to extended the longevity of my earbud's internal battery. Plenty of Customizations: The Smart Sound app allows for an ample amount of customizations to be used with the Sennheiser Momentum TW4 Earbuds. The included presets do their intended genres justice, but I utilized the sound personalization tool to add more distinction to what and how I listen to music. Decent Microphone: The microphone is satisfactory. The playback of my speech is flat, but very clear. There's no muffling in my voice, and the listener can hear it just fine. - Additional Ear tips: This may not mean much to some, but Sennheiser does include 4 ear tips sizes instead of the standard three. I found myself most comfortable with the largest sets of earbud tips and could wear them comfortably with prolonged use. [CONS] Disappointing Active Noise Cancellation: The active noise cancellation isn't as strong as I would have hoped for it to have been. It does a moderate job of blocking some of my environment, but there are occasional noises that seep in. App Quirks: For the most part, the app is straightforward and easy to understand. However, I did run into multiple issues with attempting to conduct the "Fit Test". The test failed for me 5 out of 6 times. Each failure recommended me to change the ear tips and adjust the earbuds. Despite doing so, it was not advancing me to the next stage. It finally worked the next day, but I didn't do anything different. The Fit Test does come off as gimmicky. [CONCLUSION] In this form factor, the audio quality is top tier. The Momentum TW4 provides a wonderful audio experience. Because of the performance of the ANC and microphone, it's not the end all be all for me, however, it was become my daily driver for multiple situations.

I already own a Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless over ear headset so I was excited to try the next iteration of the momentum series with earbuds. I wear glasses for computer work which is where I use headphones most of the time so it can be tough combining an over the ear headset with glasses frames. Usually they put a lot of pressure on my temples which builds up quickly. I love the feel of the case, compared to some of my other earbud products. It has a textured layer over it giving a higher feeling of luxury. The other cases I have just feel like smooth plastic and although they work fine, I liked this new take on a case. They pair automatically out of the case, though you do have to plug the case in for a few seconds the first time to initialize the buds and power them on. After that, they power on every time you take them out of the case. For comfort, they mesh into the outer ear canal and have silicon fittings to create a seal. However, I found that after longer listening sessions this contact as minimal as it is, still creates a pressure point against the ear and can cause discomfort. I haven't experienced this issue with other earbuds that come more directly out of the ear and rely on inner canal pressure to stay seated. I found the noise cancelling and transparency features left a lot to be desired. I can still hear ample background noise (such as someone speaking or my kids playing in the next room) and couldn't honestly tell a real difference between the noise cancelling being on or off. The transparency feature just turns off any audio input to the earbuds so you can hear someone talking to you. Convenient at the single press of the left earbud, but almost unnecessary because the noise canceling is so ineffective. Finally, funnily enough, the sound quality is really good. I'm amazed at how much bass you can get out of an earbud today. For a Sennheiser product, these earbuds meet my expectations. I think you would probably get better sound clarity of the noise canceling was more immersive. I also noticed no input lag from my phone to the earbuds when streaming music.

The easiest way to explain these buds are by saying, they do everything well-exceptional. Sound quality and flexibility, exceptional ANC, very good Transparency, very good Microphone quality, good-very good App, exceptional Controls, excellent Battery life, very good. Quality fell and build, exceptional Workout buds, very good-excellent These are the overall best in ear buds I've ever owned. I have Bose Ultra, these are better. Technics AZ80, these are better. Denon PPro, it's close but these are better. Their size and style make them uncomfortable for my ears after about 30 minutes. If I could rate 4.5 or 4.8 I would rather those numbers, but these are not perfect for me. They are exceptional ear buds and have many amazing qualities. The thing that sold me on these buds, was how often I would see a person from Sennheiser commenting and asking for feedback on YouTube reviews of their buds. That and watching them make improvements to the suggestions, that stuff sold me. Great buds, I will buy more.

The Case: When I first unboxed these, I was very impressed! Especially the case, it has this kind of class to it that I think other plastic earbuds lack! It feels nice and makes me feel like it’s an expensive piece of tech which I enjoyed! The case was compact, felt nice to hold, and fits in my pocket, and I felt confident that if I threw it in my backpack it wouldn’t break the hinge in there. Don’t ask me how I know about broken hinges from earbud cases in a backpack filled with stuff. But seriously I’m a huge fan of the case. The color, the feel, the weight, the snap when closing it, USB-C, and an easy to understand light! Fast charging, etc. BUT It’s not all sunshine and rainbows! The design of the inside of the case kind of leaves me wishing it was different! Putting the earbuds in and taking them out is hard for me and my big orge fingers! Just the way it’s designed makes it a challenge for me and makes me feel like I’m gonna drop something when I’m walking. I seriously have to STOP and get situated when pulling the earbuds out or back in. The other downer is the case doesn’t open far back enough! It’s like a straight 90* degree angle and now my knuckles knock against the back of the case further causing me to feel unstable when pulling the earbuds out! Not a huge deal, but I don’t like that. I wish the case opened up further and I wish there was a slot where I can put my finger in and lift the earbuds out. The App, Sound and Fit: I was disappointed with the sound at first, not gonna lie! I thought it sounded low quality, but the fit was a bit rough! Ear fatigue happened very quickly because of the design! But it wasn’t until I explored the App when all that changed! I’ll get to that later. When I first put it on, I lifted my ear so it would go in my ear and fit snug with a slight twist. It stays and it WON’T go anywhere for my ears! I can confidently say these are the best fitting earbuds for my ear out of any that I’ve tried and owned! I went on a run, did dishes, watched a show on my tablet while laying in bed, and they won’t come out… in fact they’re stuck in my ear and I’m now a Sennhesier man now! Kidding, but the way it stays put, it’s almost like it’s stuck in my ear! I love that it feels that secure in my ears! But because they’re so snug, I feel like it begins to get uncomfortable relatively quickly. Which is a bummer because it’s so great that they’re so secure! The sound was kind of flat sounding and felt hollow. Almost as if something was blocking the speaker. It’s hard to explain, but I was very surprised how not good it sounded to me. I figured it was an app thing and I needed to do something with the app. The app is awesome! No need to sign up for anything so awesome there! But noticed an Audio Resolution section. I switched it to Lossless which is the second highest setting and it changed everything. I don’t know what standard is, but once I changed it, it made a world of difference for me! Sound is crisp, dynamic and I love it! Easily the best sounding earbuds I’ve ever used! Explored the app some more and it has quite a bit of nice features like a pretty indepth EQ with some presets you can rename which is nice! I almost wish they started with Lossless and made Standard an opt in option for battery life. Maybe changed it to "Endurace" mode or something like that. Overall: I’m happy with these a lot. It has some quirks that aren’t deal breakers, but overall, solid sound, great app, aesthetically pleasing case, and secure fit make this a winner in my book.

I sincerely enjoyed the sound profile of these! Plus, the fabric case felt great and had a large battery, and the app was fast and functional. But, I returned them because the noise cancellation performance was disappointing. If that feature doesn't matter to you, these are an excellent product that punches above their weight at the price I paid, but for me, they weren't a good fit

I wanted to say that I love these. I have a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 3 over-the-ear headphones that I've had for years and am very partial to. I wanted something a little less bulky for work, and I went with these. The sound quality is lovely. The noise cancelling is marvelous. They're fairly comfortable, but there is a little bit of a learning curve to get them to sit just right in the ears. Also, if you plan on using these to work out and get sweaty, these are not the earbuds for you. Now the bad. I purchased these in November of 2024 and used them faithfully until about April 5th, 2025. They are now being sent to Sennheiser for a warranty repair. While I don't know what's wrong with them yet, it sounds like there's a loose connection somewhere in the left monitor. I've been nothing but nice to these things, though I did put a lot of mileage on them in a short span of time. I haven't dropped them or anything like that, so I'm disappointed. Hopefully this is a one off issue. Thankfully, Sennheiser makes warranty claims fairly easy.

The noise cancelling could be better but after switching to foam earbuda tips the noise canceling excelled. You do have to find size for the wings that hold it in place. I feel the larger size was better for noise isolation but would become uncomfortable after a while. The smaller size keeps them in place securely.

Build and features are great but where it lags is the sound. If you like heavy bass then they good but I personally not a fan of Sennheiser sound quality. Too muddy for me and this been they problem for a long time even back to the momentum M2 wired buds still they look nice and feel okay. Dont get me started on they warrany!

I have tried at least 5 high end earbuds recently, Sony, 2 different Bose, Samsung, and these are the best and sound fantastic with music and YouTube - Ok for phone calls. Well made and solid. My only gripe is that they are not easy to get in and out of the ear. You have to screw them in to feel secure but generally they do not feel secure and I always worry about them falling out. Not good for exercise. But the sound is sooo good I kept them. Bose QC and Ultra fit the best with ear fitting rubber and sound almost as good.

I’m a NYC based user who has used many Bose, Sennheiser, and Anker headphones. I place a heavy emphasis on sound quality, and to that end it certainly delivers. It replaces my Bose QC Ultra True Wireless earbuds with active noise cancelling, and these earbuds certainly delivers sound clarity and soundstage significantly better what the Bose QC Ultra is capable of. But with that said, I’m someone who mostly uses his earbuds on the subway, and there is no beating around the bush: Sennheiser’s active noise cancelling technology is currently far behind what Bose can do. It does muffle the subway sounds and honking cars and public conversations, but they remain far more noticeable than when I was using the Bose QC Ultra. It is certainly a downgrade in that regard. On the whole I’m still happy because the sound quality difference is substantial enough to make up for it, but if you’re looking specifically for active noise cancelling over all other considerations, I would go with Bose.

Sound quality is great once the right tips are selected. Noise cancellation is is also great. Biggest complaint is durability, first set lasted six months, we’ll see if the replacements last longer.

Great sound and the ANC was okay. But ultimately the fit wasn’t for me. Even though I swapped ear tips, but the combination of the bulk didn’t help as they would constantly need to be readjusted or they’d fall out. I fly too much to worry about falling asleep and they fall out. But the sound was amazing and would recommend if you just plan on relaxing and enjoying. I ultimately returned them and swapped into AirPod pros. Fit is much better and ANC is great but I sacrificed the sound.
