A comprehensive solution for precise camera focus, the Shape Friction & Gear Follow-Focus Riser Rail Kit with Adjustable Marker is meticulously designed for seamless integration with your camera setup. This kit amalgamates Shape's innovative Follow-Focus Friction Clic and the robust 15mm Rod Riser System, providing a sturdy and versatile platform for your camera. The Follow-Focus Clic is engineered to latch onto standard 15mm rods, enabling focus pulling when attached. The Rod Riser System, included in the kit, not only provides these rods but also a camera platform, enhancing the kit's versatility. This platform, equipped with multiple 1/4-20" and 3/8-16" threaded holes, can be conveniently mounted onto a tripod using an optional quick-release plate. This kit is not just a solution for the Clic, but also for other accessories like 35mm lens adapters and matte boxes. The Rod Riser System is designed to bear the weight of these accessories, taking the load off the lens. The Follow-Focus Clic attaches to the Riser via a patented clamp system by Shape, ensuring a secure and stable setup. The Clic's focus wheel can be positioned on either side of a lens, catering to both left and right-handed control. The focus mechanism and focus disk move together horizontally, adjusting to the lens attached. The focus disk can be a friction wheel or a gear wheel, both included in the package, and can be swapped easily with the provided Allen wrench. The friction wheel, made of high-quality rubber, maintains firm contact with the lens for accurate, slip-free focusing. The gear wheel, on the other hand, is perfect for lenses with teeth on their focusing rings, engaging with its .8 pitch gears without the need for ring gears. The Clic's white mark disk, made of thermoplastic, can be written on with non-permanent markers, making it interchangeable for various predetermined measurements. An aluminum slide-adjustable marker is also included for enhanced precision. The Shape Friction & Gear Follow-Focus Riser Rail Kit with Adjustable Marker is a professional-grade kit that offers high adjustability, allowing you to position your camera on the Riser's platform and adjust the Riser's rods vertically and horizontally.
