Q: i have cabinets on both side will i have a problem with door opening
A: If you have typical 12" deep wall cabinets, you will have no problem with door opening as this model protrudes out 3.5" past the cabinet face. If you have a giant handle on the left cabinet door, that could be a problem, but normal doors and handles would allow plenty of clearance.
A: I believe it is meant to be mounted under the cabinet and not in a cabinet, due to the venting system. Mine is under the the upper cabinet and the space below it is open. It sits about 10" off the counter .
Q: Please clarify whether this model can be used over a stove.
A: Hi Connie, Thank you for reaching out to us. I have confirmed that this unit is an Over-the-Counter Microwave only. This unit cannot be used over a stove. If you have any further questions do not hesitate to email us at [email protected]
A: We mounted ours under the cabinet with the included mount. The only thing we had to purchase additional is longer mounting screws that hold the front of the microwave to the front top of the cabinet. We did not need a trim kit. I don't think you should build it into a cabinet (surrounded by cabinet ) if that is what you're asking.
