Fits my needs perfectly. 5 CD capability, not too big, good sound. Additional functions (blue tooth to phone, AM FM radio, USB port) a real bonus! Had no luck finding anything but boom boxes online so was very happy to find this at my local Best Buy.

I loved the system. The volume is awesome. The bass is perfect, coming from small speakers. I would recommend this system for someone, who listens to music alot.

Very good sound for the size. Fairly easy set-up and operation. Antenna system could be better.

I really like the Sharp series of stereos shelf systems. I own two of the 240W systems, and both continue to function perfectly after 8 months of use. I mistakenly purchased this model, focusing on the "mini" but failing to notice that its output is 50W total. This product functioned as designed. I can load five discs into the trays, and the remote makes playing them easy. Equalizer options are rather limited, so I either adjust the equalizer on my device or the one on Spotify. Only complaint? It lacks sufficient wattage. This system was made for a small office or bedroom. However, I needed a system capable of producing quality sound throughout several rooms. This system could not do it, so I returned it. However, I still recommend it for its features and ease of use. Note: Since the 240W Sharp system is almost always sold out (as of March 5, 2022), I recommend looking at the LG 700W Stereo System as an alternate choice. The LG system is neither small nor made to sit on a shelf. It's bulky, chunky, relatively heavy, and best placed atop a piece of furniture. It only plays one CD, and has no cassette playback capability. I connected my Sony 5-disc player to it, and in tandem both work without issue. The LG produces a nice, robust sound (though equalizing options are as usual limited). Nevertheless, when comparing the cost of the Sharp versus the LG, I have to recommend the LG. I love the Sharp systems, but I wouldn't pay more than $200 for them.

First of all this is a great little micro system and plays even my CD-Rs with no issues at all and I love it being a 5 disc changer. Good clean FM radio reception "have not tried AM". Very nice clean sound from the included 2 way speakers. The separate 10 step bass & treble is a very nice feature too. One feature I have not tried is the Bluetooth/pairing and such so I really can't comment on that. Here are my only 2 personal hangup "minor' issues about it, FIRST issue: I confess I am not a high tech person at all and learning how to use the remote and/or some features is kind of difficult for "me". SECOND issue: The display has 2 different color readouts (blue and a brownish). Although the blue readouts are now easy to view since I turned off the dimmer function, however sadly the brownish readouts are still too small and/or dim to view unless my I stick my face/eyes within a foot from it "at least for me". I understand the 2 issues above might not even be a factor for most people. BOTTOM LINE: Overall this is a very nice micro system that would be very difficult to beat for the price and/or value...........Hope this helps someone ☺

This Sharp micro stereo has sound that you wouldn't expect from a system of this size. The 50 watts of power are good for a bedroom or other smaller space. The compact size of this unit makes it easy to fit it in smaller spaces. So far, I have only used the FM tuner, the cd player and the bluetooth. have not tried the USB yet. The items that I have tested work good. One feature that I like about the bluetooth is that it will show the name of the artist/song on the unit's display when I stream content from youtube/pandora, etc, from my phone. Overall, this is a great little system.

A nice little system, perfect for a shelf or desktop. It's great if you still have CDs that you enjoy listening to, but it also will satisfy the millennials and post-millennials who prefer to stream or play their Spotify or iTunes via their phone due to its Bluetooth capability. It's well-constructed and sounds fantastic for its size! I have only two criticisms: 1. The remote and button layout seems unnecessarily complicated. You'll need to take some time and actually read the manual. 2. There is no aux RCA input. I had hoped to add a cassette player, but it looks like I'll need an adapter if I can use it at all. Otherwise, a great little unit at a great price.

This was a replacement for a Sony system purchased 15 years ago. Both have 5 disc CD player encorporated. Price was good and wattage fits our living area very well. Fairly easy to set up. Perhaps the directions for the disc options could be clearer. I wish the manual was printed as a booklet with a larger font size. The single sheet 20 page directions are too overwhelming. Sound quality is very good as is the AM/FM reception. I had some problems with FM reception with the old Sony (the unit sits behind doors in a book case. The value for the price is good.

Works great! Things to know: iPhone has to connect using Bluetooth not usb plug in. Player will NOT shuffle music from 5 different loaded discs at a time. Shuffles from one disc only. Otherwise it is great! The sound is very good and it is nice and compact. I have it on a bookcase shelf with an extra shelf pulled out since it is a little too wide.

Have had it a little over two months. Love the device. Gives great sound to my old CDs and love the Bluetooth capability. A little concerned that very once in a while (twice a week) the device switches playing modes for no good reason. Just yesterday I was listening to my CDs and it switched to Bluetooth for no reason. I hope this does not keep happening.

Very good sound quality for a small system. Bluetooth, cd sound, both fine. My cd collection is still boxed fro a move, so I haven’t tried the changer. I’m not sure why I can’t get some of the fm stations that I get easily from all parts of Lakewood/Wheatridge /Golden from my car. I’m looking for a stronger antenna.

The Sharp is a small stereo but it has decent sound and is easy to setup and use. I bought it because I wanted one that would play multiple CDs and also connect to me IPod and this works fine for my needs.

I have a bar setup along one wall in my living room, and for the last few years I've had an LG 220-Watt boombox type CD player integrated into it. I could never get that unit to sound great, but it was sufficient. I decided to move it to the bedroom and needed another unit for the bar. I had two conditions- CD player (as I have hundreds of CDs) and had to fit into the space. This unit was about one inch wider overall than the LG, so I went with this. Overall- the sound is exceptional! But the unit has several quirks which is why I can only give it four stars. THE GOOD Sound is so much better than anticipated and surprising from relatively small speakers. Bass and treble are full, midrange is a little weak- the remote has adjustments for bass and treble but I wish it had a midrange adjustment as well, or some EQ settings. BUT the sound is still exceptional. It's full and accurate and the bass goes surprisingly low. 50 watts RMS output is more than enough for most usage, unless you are using in a very large space in which this unit would be too small. For most use cases it's more than enough power and volume. The ability to play 5 CDs is great and hard to find these days. Bluetooth works great, USB playback works (a bit quirky, as per below) ok, I have not used the FM radio function. THE BAD CD playback takes a long time to switch discs (about 15 seconds) and is quite noisy. The random feature on CDs will only play one CD shuffled, then switch to the next CD, no way to have it jump between CDs. This is probably due to the delay in changing CDs, it would be quite annoying if it did it after every track. USB playback has a weird quirk when using random- when you select "random" on the remote it will immediately switch to a different song, play that one for about three seconds and then switch to another song. After that, it works fine. Not a big deal, just odd execution. The remote is not user-friendly- why is the play/pause button a small button off to the side instead of being in the middle where the track selection buttons are? I always forget it's the not there because every other stereo remote I've used has it right in the middle. THE UGLY Out of the box, when you turn the device off it goes into "demo" mode, where the screen scrolls messages and lights up all the different indicators. it's very odd. To turn it off you press "demo", and then the screen goes into a "Bluetooth scanning" display. You then have to press "ECO" on the remote to turn THAT off, and finally you end up with a blank display. But the unit has a clock, and you can only see that when the unit is on and you press the "clock" button, and then it displays for a few seconds. Why can't the power off simply go into displaying the clock? It's the simplest and most logical display, yet it doesn't do it. Setting the clock was a pain, you have to press specific buttons in order with only a few seconds to do so or it stops the setting process. It took me a few tries to finally get it set correctly. User manual is not user friendly- it's a big fold out sheet with small type. If you can live with the quirks (I can) it's a handsome unit with excellent sound quality and plenty of playback options.

I bought this online for a relative that lives at a great distance and has never enjoyed the benefit of a musician's ear. My relative is basically tone deaf, and often complained that everything sounded dull and monotone. I took a chance on this because it plays CDs, has a radio, has tone selections, is compact, and the reviews were quite good. My relative is very happy with it, decaring it a fine sounding compact system, not dull or monotone at all. That tells me it has good clarity and should provide good value in entertainment and price, and if one wants, it has enough power to use more expensive bookshelf speakers should one have that desire.

Our children decided we needed a surround sound system for our TV, Well, ten years later, and it was never used - just too many buttons to be pushed if we only wanted to listen to our cd's. This little system works great for us. We just load it and are happily listening to OUR music. Would recommended to any person who has a cd collection and isn't into the music you can downoad on to your phone. The sound is great and it is very easy to use.

System sounds awesome and is perfect size for the room its in. I do not like the fact that when you turn it off - the demo screen continues to rotate thru the display..it wont just shut off. Have to kill power to the unit to get it to stop.

I unpacked the unit and had it assembled in under 20 minutes. Of course the first thing I did was look for my favorite radio stations. Was a little disappointed that one on my list, less than 50 miles away that came in clearly on my other system was thready and very annoying to listen to for long. The sound quality on the stations that do come in and the CD feature is great, and it doesn't take up as much room as my old one.

This is a compact system, fits on bookshelf nicely. Sound quality is very good, price is very good. The only downside is the size and labeling of the buttons on the unit, and especially the remote control....get your reading glasses out. Also, you can’t plug in extra speakers or other components, but I didn’t buy it for that. Bluetooth works good paired to my cell phone, but I can’t get my android tablet to pair to it for some reason. All in all, I’m pretty happy with my purchase.

Setting up this unit was easy. I really enjoy the sound and five disc capacity. I am very happy with this CD player, I haven't been able to set the time yet; you have to be pretty quick!
