I bought these back in November and they have been a huge letdown. The light comes on when they are plugged in, but as soon as I unplug them, they won't turn on at all. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality. I’m very disappointed with this purchase.

Looks pretty and happy color that is about it. Only utility headphone have , one is aware of external sounds . It has indicators on iOS mobile that the shokz headphones is paired/connected to iOS mobile phone at the top far right , near the battery icon and cell phone signal . Therefore one does not know if you are Bluetooth connected to phone unless you go to settings and go into iOS rabbit hole. Should you have multiple devices and want to pair to multiple devices, I rather have something else instead.

This is a poor product for noisy environments - where other Shokz models work well with ear plugs, this does not, even with classic mode bone conduction. It does have superior sound quality when in standard mode to other Shokz models, for which I was happy. But it only lasted for a month before it failed entirely and would not power up. My theory is that it is not well suited for working out or working in hot environments where sweat is present. Which is not what you would expect from a product with "run" in the name. Only IP55 rating. So basically they are telling you to run with the headphones but don't sweat or they will crap out on you. They also had connectivity issues at times. Perhaps I just had a bad set. I have submitted for warranty replacement which Shokz agreed to review to their credit.

I've had these for a couple of months now and im very dissappointed with them. The sound quality is fine but the bluetooth connectivity is terrible. Any time i pause what im listening too for more than a few seconds the headphones disconnest. Re selecting them im my bluetooth settings doesnt work, i have to completly restart the headphones. On top of that the power button doesnt work reliably either so i'll have to try multiple times to get the headphones to turn back on. Ive had this issue with multiple different devices since i first got the headphones.

this item was stated as bone conduction which I assumed was straight out okay as I previously attempted to buy the newest air open dots headset and when i finally recieved it I had no way to understand it had audio air rather than conduction and this model also has a half bone conduction / audio air conduction form that doesn't apply to my health reasons as i use only bone conduction to hear after genetic issues making my audio air conduction not feasible to use.

Hi there- Shokz here! We're sorry to hear this has been your experience. The OpenRun Pro 2 uses a hybrid system that includes both bone and air conduction, which may not be suitable for your medical needs. However, the Shokz app includes a "Classic Mode" that disables the air conduction driver, allowing for a pure bone conduction experience. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any questions. If these are not a good fit for you, we kindly ask that you reach out to BestBuy Customer Service directly to learn of their return policy. Thank you!

Call quality is GARBAGE!!!!! These are great for listening to podcasts and other video clip watching. You can still hear around you. I like the Multipairing feature in the app. If you are connected to your phone you can open the Shokz app and trigger pairing to a laptop or Roku or other device at the same time. Very handy to listen to TV late at night when others are sleeping. The part that is really bad is the call quality. Callers say that they cannot hear you, or you are in a tunnel. It is really bad, worse if there is background noise. I even tested using a recording app on my phone. The Shokz sounds terrible, and switching them off and turning on my Jabra Elite Active Gen 2 earbuds, and doing another recording, sounds like a professional microphone and is clear and easy to understand. Shokz doesn't know how to put a microphone in a product, these are terrible if you want to make calls.

Hi there- Shokz here! We're very sorry to hear this has been your experience.
We highly recommend ensuring that the latest firmware version has been updated via the Shokz app for the best experience with your OpenRun Pro 2.
Sound leakage occurs naturally with an open-ear vibration system. The efficiency of bone conduction is highest when the transducer is placed on the hard bone just in front of the ear canal (the temporal bone). Please ensure the pads are flush against the skin. Even a 1mm air gap can turn your headphones into a small external speaker. If using glasses, we highly recommend wearing your Shokz open ear headphones on first, then place your glasses over the hooks. This ensures the transducers maintain direct, firm contact with your bone.
If you decide these are not a good fit for you, we kindly ask that you reach out to BestBuy Customer Service directly to learn of their return policy. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thank you!

It wasn't what I expected; it doesn't compete with Apple at all. It lacks noise cancellation, and the sound quality is terrible in noisy environments. Don't waste your money.

I purchased this device after spending some time with a sales rep discussing the fact that I only wanted a device if it was capable of reading text messages allowed to me when they arrive on my iPhone. The sales rep did some Google searches and reading within their data database and said that this unit had that capability. If it does, I have been unable to figure out how to make that work. I did submit a question to the question and answers section asking for clarification about this feature, but apparently my question has been rejected as it has not appeared in the listing of Q&A items nearly a week after my purchase. In addition to lacking this critical feature, I have found that the audio quality for calls is less than desirable, and rigid structure around the back of my neck interferes with collared shirts and jackets. I will be returning this item.

Hi there- Shokz here! We're sorry to hear this has been your experience. In order to have messages read aloud, there is usually a phone setting that requires adjusting. To have text messages read aloud on your iPhone through your headphones, go to your phone's settings, navigate to "Notifications" > "Messages", and then turn on the "Announce Notifications" feature; this will allow Siri to read incoming messages aloud through your connected headphones when you receive them.
Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Not a fan. Lots of friends had been raving about the headphones, especially as runners but I just didn’t like them. They would shift a lot which was super annoying. I wanted to give them a chance because of safety but whenever I’d pass busy streets, which was 50% of the time given I live in Los Angeles, I couldn’t really hear anything.
