Suppose to have a 2 year manufacturing warranty and they do not stand by product. Cutting out and shutting off automatically. Issue less than 1 year old Should have bought product from different business, one that stands behind the products they sell.

Been a daily Air user for a year plus. Hear about all of the improvements for Aeropex, and decided to jump on board since I was noticing a slight crack in the plastic where the charger port is on my old Airs. Sadly, I just got back from Best Buy returning these Aeropex and re-purchasing another pair of Airs. There are some amazing changes with the Aeropex that I REALLY wanted to get in on, and almost all of them are advancements except the mics. I love: - that they are lighter and more comfortable - that they are waterproof - they have magnetic charging (no more cracked plastic at the charging port!) - I even found the sound quality to be improved - less buzzing at high volume However, the downfall in this new design is the mics. Nobody could understand what I was saying. I returned a pair, and tried a second while standing at the Best Buy customer service counter; same results. Everyone I talk to on the phone is used to my Airs. They ALL complained about not being able to understand me when using Aeropex. Never left the counter; swapped to a Trekz Air, made calls, everyone was like "Wow, much much better". :-( I use these for work as my primary headset. Come on Aftershokz, fix the mics, and this headset will rule them all!

I had a different pair of Aftershokz, and loved them- i decided to upgrade because these are smaller around the ears and fit slightly better on me. For double the price, though, these are absolutely not worth it. The battery life feels identical, but is probably advertised as slightly longer. The sound quality is functionally the same, if a little bit "less visible", for lack of a better term. It feels like these play more "in the background"- it's hard to describe, but it's not unpleasant. The biggest issue that i didn't realize until after purchase, though, is that these came with a proprietary charger (that just so happens to be exactly the same dimensions as USB-C while being completely incompatibile). Coupled with a cable that only works one way that feels backwards (it's magnetic), and barely reaches the top of a desk or nightstand because it's so short, and it makes for a genuinely terrible charging experience. It's frustrating, because these fit better and look objectively nicer than the $80 ones, but I refuse to in good faith recommend anyone buy these. You will lose, break, or want more than one charger, and when that happens- often within one day of purchase- you will regret it. Just buy the cheaper ones. They're actuality designed to be used more than once. This does not deserve "Pro" branding for any reason.

The Shokz OpenRun headphones are comfortable and provide great situational awareness for outdoor workouts. However, I’m disappointed that a persistent buzzing sound developed in the audio within the first month. While the fit is excellent, the sudden sound quality issues make it hard to recommend for long-term endurance use

They do make sound. Like listening to music inside of a steel barrel without low frequencies. Do not suggest these at all. Headache within about 5 min.

The sound is definitely better than Air--it is actually pretty decent fidelity. I wore them as a passenger while driving many hours with my wife and she complained mightily about the sound leakage. There was no position I could place them in to minimize that so they were a fail for the main purpose. The proprietary charger was a discouraging note but I understand the complexity if making something IP67 waterproof. The real killer though more noticed after the road trip was that these headphones would cutout during any music. My AfterShokz Air on BT 4 did not do this. My other BT headphones do not do this. Over all these headphones are heavily marketed to me leakage resistant but the experienced high sound leakage and BlueTooth defect made it a fail for me. Perhaps it's very acceptable for running but in the car with a spouse it's asking for more dissent than competing navigation options. Buy it for running if you get a pair that doesn't cut out but they're pointless if you're around anyone else.

Long time Aftershokz Trekz Air user, and a huge fan of those. My current ones were finally starting to kick the bucket, so I thought I'd try upgrading to the Aeropex, based on all the positive reviews. If you've heard the sound quality of the Air, the Aeropex very disappointing. They are not as full and a bit muffled sounding (probably due to completely sealed, waterproof nature). I use my headphones for hours on end every day for work conference calls, in addition to running 5K every other day. After a short hour long conference call, I was simply fatigued from the muffled quality. Also, these seemed to "temple buzz" much more than the Air. To be fair, I tend to be very sensitive to "lo-fi" sound, so you may not be as bothered by overall sound quality. Unfortunately, I'll be returning these for a new pair of Airs.

Got these for Xmas present from my wife, and because I only have hearing from my left ear, we thought these headphones would be a blessing to help my messed up hearing/balance system, but instead, after about 2 hours of usage, these headphones gave me the worst headache ever, and got me super, super dizzy... I had read many reviews, and a few of them complained of dizziness and headaches after using them, so if you a have balance or dizziness issues, you might wanna stay away from this system. The sound, although headphones do not go inside your ear canal, was surprisingly good and they allowed outside noise to come through perfectly, but Unfortunately, because of headaches and dizziness, I had to return them!

The sound quality and battery life of these headphones are amazing. The microphone for voice is horrible.

Does not fit anything but a small or normal sized head. Would not come even close to going over my ears.

I had high hopes for these. I wear hearing aids and was excited to try something that would keep me from having to take these out, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I have to wear these at 100% and I still don't hear great sound unless I sit in a certain position. And bass is kinda muffled. I was listening to a Podcast and the deeper voices were muffled while the higher voices were fine. When i use it for a call, I cannot hear the caller as well as I can hear music and I agree that people complain they cannot hear me well. I'll be returning today after trying them out for 10 days.

I read the reviews on these headphones. I thought I was prepared for them. I knew going in to the purchase that these wouldn't be a booming, high fidelity set of headphones. What I wasn't ready for was exactly how low fidelity they are. Imagine paying $160 for headphones that sound like a clock radio from 1985. That said, if you are listening to podcasts or audio books while cleaning your house, these are a perfect solution. They truly shine in the frequencies of the human voice. Sadly, those are the only frequencies they reproduce.

These were great for me. Good sound liked that i could leave my earplugs in at work. But after a year now they wont turn on battery discharges quickly. Fully charged last night wont turn on today. Little pricey for a years life expectancy

I liked the idea of these, but at the end of the day the sound was just way to subpar. I am not an audiophile by any means, but I do have a good ear for sound quality and can tell you that these sound like putting a cell phone in a Solo cup to listen to music. There is absolutely zero bass. The material and packaging are excellent, and they do feel like a premium product.

Neat concept, but that's it. The only explanation of the high reviews is that these people have never used any other type of headphone. The sound is audible. The quality is ok, but again, only if you've never used any other headphone. The charger is a gimmick. Does it work? Yes. But thanks for putting another proprietary charger on my desk that only works with one device. You'll fit nicely next to my Microsoft Surface. The fit is annoying as the band sticks out from my head. Lean your head back and touch your chairs headrest and the whole thing gets shifted out of place. Wear a collared shirt? Forget about this device.

The battery don’t last that long in a good day maybe 4 hrs and it take the same amount of time to charge I will not recommend if you like to ear the bass in You music this not for you

The only sounds good when you have earplugs in if there's any surrounding sound you can't really hear anything using them at work with earplugs in they sound amazing but I think they're garbage outside of work

I wanted an upgrade from Jabra. These aren't even close to the same quality. They are big and not adjustable. They are like wearing a halo. There is no app available. The volume is either inaudible or deafening. This is probably due to the unadjustable fit. I really don't like them.

Can't use a charger other than the one it comes with. The upgraded model is better and can use the new Apple charging cables that you use for the phones.

The sound is great the hardware is terrible use three pairs in less than six months spent a lot of money in warranties not worth getting end up switching over to apple. Which is a shame I used them in the firehouse they were perfect I could hear everybody and listen to music. Again don't get them breaks easily.
