I didn't read the specifications so it was smaller than I anticipated. However it is a cute lamp. I ordered two and placed than on the cabinet above my toilet. The marble is faux of course and you can tell up close that it is a coated base, but it is appealing when you step back. I would recommend this for college dorms or as a small night light in a room. The one downside was that they did not come with light bulbs. This takes a type B bulb and I had to run out and buy some. Also, the on switch is on the cord instead of under the bulb so plan for that. Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchase.

I love these little lights. However, you need to understand that the bulb socket will NOT fit your normal bulbs. This is an E10 socket. So you will need an adapter or you will need to get different bulbs. But the ones from most ceiling fans will not work with it. Other than that, it is actually ceramic! Not plastic! BE CAREFUL. If you drop it, it will break!
