Hi, I want to make sure that this machine is good for normal sewing and quilting both, I need regular sewing for now and quilting may be later, please let me know that it's only quilting or this machine is for all sewing purpose? Thanks!

The Singer Quantum Stylist model 9960 sewing machine is not generally considered a beginner sewing machine, only because it has so many features. The Singer Quantum Stylist model 9960 sewing machine is user friendly and a beginner would be able to learn just about any type of sewing they would be interested in and have a machine that can do it.
Does this product have a usb to import designs? And can it be used for embroidery purposes? If so up to what size hoop?

While the Singer Quantum Stylist model 9960 sewing machine does have built-in lettering and decorative stitch patterns that are a type of embroidery design, it isn’t a sewing machine with programmable embroidery capabilities. Answered by SINGERSewingCompanyThe measurements for the arch area of the Singer Quantum Stylist model 9960 sewing machine are as follows: - from center needle to machine tower is approximately 6 3/8 inches and the interior height from the bed to the top of the arch is approximately 4 inches high.
Hi - Can this machine mount in a cabinet that has a drop down self that lowers the machine so that it is hidden when not in use? Thx
Answered by SINGERSewingCompanyUnfortunately, our newer machines, including the Singer Quantum Stylist model 9960 sewing machine, will not attach to the old style cabinets. They are no longer made with an opening to place a mounting bracket.
