This brand new plastic model kit of the 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396, produced by AMT, is a Skill Level 2 1/25 scale model and comes in vintage-style, unopened manufacturer’s packaging. The kit contains 129 detailed parts molded in white unless otherwise indicated and features colorful decal artwork, chrome-plated small parts, black vinyl tires with metal axles, rally wheels, American MAG wheels, custom front and rear ends, a "Stinger" custom exhaust outlet, a 396 cu. in. engine with Crower injection, and options for a rally wheel, drag bucket seat, and wheelie casters. "Chrome" trim detail can be added using silver paint. Paint and cement are required but not included, and builders can assemble the kit in one of three ways: Street, Drag, or Custom. The kit is an officially licensed product, providing a highly detailed and authentic representation of the classic Chevelle SS 396.
