This brand new 1/16 scale plastic model kit of the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible 2-in-1, produced by AMT, is a Skill Level 3 1/16 scale model and comes in vintage-style, unopened manufacturer’s packaging. The kit contains more than 123 detailed parts molded in white unless otherwise indicated and features whitewall and black vinyl tires with metal axles, detailed interior, colorful decal artwork, vinyl hoses and wiring, chrome-plated small parts, and opening doors and hood. The model measures approximately 12 inches in length when assembled and offers builders the option to build the kit in one of two ways: Stock or Custom. The Stock version includes a super-detailed "Super Turbo-Fire" 283 cubic inch V-8 engine with dual exhausts, a 4-barrel carburetor, and vinyl ignition wiring and radiator hoses for added realism. The Custom Show/Performance options feature body, hood, and decklid dechroming, an eggcrate grille, Cragar S/S Mag wheels, 60-Series Goodyear rally G.T. tires, and performance engine upgrades such as finned valve covers, low-restriction air cleaner, Holley 4-barrel carburetor, and Edelbrock "Tarantule" intake manifold. Paint and cement are required but not included, and the kit provides an authentic and highly detailed representation of the classic 1957 Bel Air Convertible.
