I have been using this for over than a year, the battery it's really good, the sound it's good too, but the plastic holding the pieces on your ear it's the very bad quality, on light use it got broken so easy, now I have to contact to see if they still on warranty and all the steps to try to fix them, it's broken in both sides

Loved it. Audio was great, very comfortable, plus the easy-adjust bass is helpful. But, sadly, it only lasted 8 months. Not as sturdy/flexible as advertised. Sent an email to Skullcandy support, but I have yet to hear from them after 4 days. Not sure if Best Buy can do anything for me. Probably not.

These headphones sound great. After about 4 mo of use, cracks started to appear in the plastic. Eventually the "Y" shaped bracket that holds the housing broke. I had to use epoxy to repair and reinforce the bracket. They look crappy, but still sound great.

If you need a quick headset, don't mind if it gets thrown around or broken, then this is it. It's a pretty straight forward headset. Opening the box left alot to be desired, 2 plastic pieces put together and the wires squeezed in. It's fine, I'm not the type to care about the packaging. Does come with a USB A- USB C charging cable, and a 3.5mm aux cable. The headset looks ok, I didn't really like the wires sticking out of the earpiece, but it works and same thing, I don't really care what I look like, but I can understand how some people would not like this. Feels like the wires fell out of the headset and broken, but in fact, it's just the way it's supposed to look. I do appreciate the build of the metal extension, that at least felt more sturdy and premium. And the clamping force wasn't terrible, and I have a rounded head shape so I usually have pain if the force is too high. The design buttons are large, easy to push. Finally the thing I cared most about, audio quality. I don't think I consider myself an audiophile, but there was quite alot missing. The deep thumb/bass was weak, and there is an adjuster that allows you to boost more bass, but I felt like it barely changed anything. The mids were missing, the highs were blunted. Medium to narrow soundstage. This is a headset for my kids minecraft and youtube, not a headset to enjoy symphonies or positional audio in counterstrike. I tried the line-in to see if there's a difference and it was minimal. So overall, I felt like it's a ok headset , bring to places in case you lose it, or broken if dropped by the kids, etc. It wouldn't be my go to as an adult who wants to watch a movie or play some serious gaming.

This is my first pair of Skullcandy Crusher headphones. Setting it up was pretty straightforward after putting it in pairing mode and selecting the device in my phone’s Bluetooth menu. It has a multi-function/power button (MFB) on the back of the right earcup between the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons used for volume adjustment and track skipping. You can also take calls on by pressing the MFB, and the audio picked up by its mic is clear and crisp. The main feature that sets this line of headphones apart is an adjustable sensory bass slider on the left earcup. Other than that, it’s a fairly basic set of wireless Bluetooth headphones. It has a USB-C port for charging and AUX input port for wired connections on the left earcup as well. The AUX cable is 4 ft long and does not have inline controls. Both ends of the incredibly short, 4.5 inch USB-A to USB-C cable are reversible, so it's nice that you don't have to think about its orientation when plugging it in. The battery charges quickly in 2-3 hours and can last around 40 hours of playback on a full charge. The headphones’ body and earcup hangers are constructed with lightweight plastic, and it has a flexible steel core. Both the earcups are collapsible and fold in for compact storage, however, no case is included. There are short lengths of cable that exit out of the top of the earcups before routing back into the headband. The underside of the headband is rubberized with an indent in the middle for use with a headphone hanger. While it’s not as soft as a fabric/foam headband, it is relatively cushy, and I appreciate that it can be easily cleaned by wiping it off. As for the fit, the earcups are a decent size but not overly generous. They do not pivot side to side but can tilt very slightly top to bottom. They are adjustable up and down about an inch. As someone with larger ears, my ears barely fit fully within the pad cavities and touch the inside edges of the padding. I found the clamping force on my head somewhat tight and the leatherette pads heat up a bunch while I’m wearing them. They’re okay for short listening sessions, but if I wear them for more than an hour they start feeling hot and uncomfortable. The ear pads are also easy to remove so you can replace them when they wear out. As for sound quality, it’s just okay, considering I generally prefer headphones tuned for audiophiles. Sound isolation is average, with a good seal from the pressure, but audio tends to bleed to the exterior at higher volumes, so folks around you may be able to hear what you're listening to. With the bass slider at the lowest position, the sound is fairly muddy with fuzzy trebles coupled with under-supported mids and shallow bass, projected over a narrow soundstage. Turning up the bass slider adds more punch with haptic feedback that causes the earpads to physically vibrate. This vibration also tends to travel up the headband to generate some buzzing at the top of my head which I found pretty exhausting after a while. Even at 50% the boosted bass feels overly heavy, though the balance is better when set to around 25%. When the bass slider is turned up to the max, the haptic effects are quite forceful, however, the fidelity and clarity of the audio suffers, becoming way too boom-y and dull. For me, I find the haptic sensations to be very unpleasant. It’s not quite ticklish, but it’s in that zone. The intensity and placement of the vibrations around my ears is just irritating, almost painful, like it’s hitting a nerve the wrong way. I also noticed that the steel core tends to resonate with a dull metallic ping any time the headphones are touched or adjusted, which was annoying. Overall, these headphones were not my cup of tea. I found the haptic vibrations detrimental to my enjoyment of the music, whose sound quality is fairly average to begin with. However, if you enjoy powerful thumping bass and feeling vibrations on your head that sync with your music, these may be right up your alley.

The bass on the Skull Candy Crusher Wireless AKA by me as skullcrusher is great but the level of comfort is also great as well. Pros: great battery life, charge time is super fast, love the bass slider, big buttons, and bass is brain scrambling good. Cons: not very comfortable, earmuff pressed too hard(nearly compressing your head level), plastic part/sleeve on the earpiece where you adjusting the length of the headphone is a weak point(broke both of mine, two headphones). Holding mine together with a ziptie. Also, a clicking noise when pressed on one earpiece.

I believe my hat size is 7 3/8. My first impression was that these headphones were a bit too snug but I figured I'd get used to it. I was willing to try because the sound quality and bass is excellent and I like the user controls. Also the battery life is excellent. Unfortunately after less than 3 months of gentle use, one of the earpieces broke off in a way that is not practical to fix. Very disappointing to pay over $100 to get less than 3 months of use. Would not recommend.

Sounds okay , over modulated bass to say the least. But at least they is adjustable. What isn't adjustable is the completely STUPID track advance , track back feature. You get hold the multifunction plus or minus buttons. For 5 seconds , to change the track or .... Hit them fast to adjust volume. As soon as I discovered this. They went right back in the box. These fit super , build quality is super for the price point. So they decided to ruin all this awesome with multifunction keys , you reach behind your ear. You know , simple , behind your ear where you can't really see or know easily what key your hitting.

Honestly, when I first bought these I loved them. But after the first week I realized that you couldn’t get much distance without holding the device connected to them. Then I noticed how the ear covers kept falling off and putting them back on wasn’t easy or fun at all.. the worst part is I’m constantly having to put them back on. Overall the sound is great and also the comfort to the ears..

I figured I'd give these a try since my bose sound link 2 headphones bit the dust. Boy did I make a mistake. The bass feature is just obnoxious, the controls are annoying and they are very very tight to wear. They sound ok once you tweak the EQ on your phone. Only other good thing to say about these cans are the ear cups are roomy and have a lot of cushioning and the battery life seemed to hold up. I would not reccomend these to an adult who cares about sound and comfort.

Very comfortable, and great sound. Worked well for about 6 months, then stopped charging. It seems the Micro-USB failed, which appears to be a common issue across many devices. Thankfully warranty was long enough that I was able to return to manufacturer and received a refund. Had to order a different unit that hopefully will work better - charges over USB-C.

Skullcandy Crusher headphones are very comfortable and sound great (both sound and phone call quality), but unfortunately within the first week of using my pair the bass kept going in and out of the headphones. I read from other reviews that people have had this same problem. So if you are lucky to get a pair that works then these are great. But for me it was a lemon.

I purchased this headset today. When I tried them on I immediately noticed how tight they fit, even after adjusting the band. I could hear my own pulse and instantly felt better once I took them off. I can't imagine trying to wear these 6 hours a day for my job. Apart from not fitting my fat head, there were other issues. The instructions are laughable. You have to do some sleuthing to figure out how to set up the device with your PC. I struggled getting the mic to finally work. The mic is only available apparently when you plug into the PC, which defeats the point of being wireless. In addition, the mic quality is horrible. I'm used to having a boom mic that sits in front of my mouth. Wherever the mic is located on this set, it picks up the static in the background and sounds terrible. I sound 5 feet away from it. I wasn't impressed with the speaker sound quality, either. I could feel the bass, sure, but I think they sacrificed something to achieve that. The sound seemed distant and I had to raise the volume to the max on my PC to hear smaller sounds. I'm returning these tomorrow.

I've had almost nothing but good experiences with skullcandy, but that unfourtanently ended here. I was expecting the best they had to offer with this product, but instead found out why the display headphones at best buy will not allow you to turn the bass all the way up, the sound quality is horrible. If you plan to only listen to music at lower volumes then its a fine pair of headphones, but being advertised as having "bass you can feel", i was expecting good sound quality to go along with that. I'll give them credit where it's due though, you can feel it. Also, I was unimpressed with the connection strength of the Bluetooth. I tried using it with my Samsung tv and the connection would break up more than once when I was sitting right in front of my tv, I'm currently writing this review using the Sony headphones I got after returning the skullcandys in a completely different room from my tv with no connection issues. In conclusion, for $200, there's better stuff out there, I ended up getting a pair of $250 noise canceling Sony's and am much happier.

There is a lot I can tell you about so I'll summerize from time I bought then from later when I returned. At first it seemed great with it being wireless and no dealing with cables but you will deal with range now. Being new the headphones fit too tight having a more c shape than previous. The build of this headphones is way better than previous but its tech falls short. You'll have to deal with bluetooth not connecting, resetting to connect to another device, charging and much more. I had issues where I'd get a loud blast because of the bluetooth reconnecting and play loud. It costing more doesn't mean it'll be good for long usage. It gave me headaches and it wasn't the musics fault. I returned it since it doesn't deliver what it should be.

If all you want is to blow out your ears with bass, these will do it with ease. They are insanely loud and the bass will literally shock you for their size and price. That said, I returned them almost immediately because no matter what I did, they were never comfortable. Adjustment is very limited, so if they don’t fit you well right out of the box, you are likely to find them painful to wear for extended periods of time. Voice connection and quality is outstanding, however I did find that I had many audio conflicts when pairing voice

The overall sound and bass is excellent but I had to return the headphones because the bass slider was loose in the middle. I exchanged the pair for another pair but it was the same problem. Maybe other people might not notice it that much or wont bother them but I couldn't adjust to it. If the bass slider was improved I would try them again.
