I bought this to replace my old sad bluetooth speakers that are still on micro-USB charge ports. Great replacement - I've generally been satisfied with Skullcandy products and this one keeps in line with the other ones I've used before. Not as many frills as apple products but doesn't need to be that fancy. I just want something that connects easily to my laptop and gives a decent bass-y sound (at least more bass than my laptop can produce on it's own). This does all that and that's all I need it to do. Would recommend
