The tech installed my camera in 20min, the connecting to wifi took longer but that wasn’t their fault, i find that nest products are very finicky to set up but once they get connected they work very well

The camera was installed too low, I wanted it to be installed at least 9 feet from the ground as the instructions said. The picture provided is the way geek squad install the device. Yes, it's not put up correctly. I can not reach anyone to fix the problem. All I've been getting is the runaround, being put on hold and no one comes back. I had to pay another company to come out and fix the problem.

They came in and very quickly and easily installed our Ring floodlight! He also helped us connect it to our wifi. He was even willing to go over how to use it and everything too but we already know how to use it. Very simple, fast, and easy with this. Here’s the caveat though. This was back when the Best Buy Total Tech plan gave this to us for free. We just had to buy any item from Best Buy and the installation was included for free. I personally would never pay full price for this service. I’d rather get a handyman to install a bunch of them at once, or simply do it myself. But if it’s included in your purchase absolutely yes.

The Geek Squad is remarkable and well worth the money! Let's see, so far, they've fixed my laptop twice due to different issues. installed 2 Ring Doorbell and cameras at my home; helped me access my deceased brother's locked computer, so I could get his vital insurance info; and installed my wall TV. All of this was done with professionalism and a smile. Not to mention the extended return policy and warranties, and I receive on ALL my purchases at Best Buy. Who could ask for more?! The installers subcontracted by Geek Squad did an excellent job of installing the camera and assuring all was in working order. So much so one of them gave his cell phone number in case the lights needed to be adjusted. It was broad daylight and you couldn't determine the actual coverage it would produce until nightfall.

All of the service agents are very nice and pleasant to deal with. We never really had a problem until this last life that was put up. I don’t know why but it’s by my back door in a corner to aim out toward the patio and driveway. But one light is facing back into the corner and basically useless and it just keeps blinking off and blank. It’s irritating. I have another agent coming out tomorrow to fix it and I’m sure he’ll fix it but I will continue to be a faithful Best Buy customer have been for oh my God Over 40 years I don’t wanna go past that bye-bye
