It’s a alright case. Kind of overpriced in my opinion. There are probably better and cheaper cases out there

Love the feel of the case but isn’t very protective, and occasionally falls off due to being held on via magnets, has picked up some stains over time, pros is that it sticks to anything metal even through the case.

It offers some protection for your iPad and acts as a stand, get if you are adamant about having official products. But there are many other options for better protection especially if giving to a child, and even more if looking for a stand. This cover really only lets you have it folded, closed, or upright in the 1 angle

Should have just gotten a rugged case unless I’m keeping iPad on desk. This option doesn’t provide a lot of protection if you’re on the go, and it’s easy to not notice the pencil fall off, since it relies only on the stock magnet, compared to more rugged cases. If the iPad falls with this, I think it’s likely to brake, there’s not much bumper protection or security for pencil. And the mounting options are almost irrelevant. This might just protect you screen from scratches and offer a slight degree of tilt if you use the folds to prop it. So you’re iPad doesn’t have to be completely flat again a desk. The design is however slick and minimalist to go among with the Apple styles, but I think I was better off just buying a case with a lid and/or screen protector. There are better options for this price point. They are always in stock and you can find them anywhere and it’s better than going around with a bare iPad, that’s the only reason I’ll give them a pass and refined it.

It is a nice product but after trying it I plan to get one of the origami ones

It is useful as a stand but the price does not justify it's tag. I know its because of the brand but I was looking for a case protector for my sister's first iPad. This is not it. It has magnets but they do not provide the necessary protection if it were to take a fall. It looks slick and nice but not what I am looking for. Decided to return it.

This case is very good quality but I wish it came up a bit more on the sides and had a slot for the apple pencil

it is cute looking, but it isn't going to add any drop protection and if you get the pen , the pen is only going to stick on with the magnet so I can see that popping off all the time. if it is only ever sitting next to your bed for reading than this is good.

I was expecting a higher quality product coming from apple. My main issue with the folio is that it easily comes off and feels cheap. Nonetheless, it protects my device from scratches.

Fiddly, awkward, and just adequate enough to be considered protective. I mean I guess it serves its purpose and looks elegant, however this is a clear case of form over function. Better, bulkier, and considerably uglier cases can be had for less money. Actually the thing that this case does well is being unobtrusive when not really offering anything at the moment. But if that’s the case would I be better off without it, and just buying a tablet stand?

Solid case. Love that it matches the color. Overall it not a bad case. Just a bit overpriced for what it is.

Decent for what is it- it magnets to the front and back of the ipad. Offers really minimal protection, fine to use if you never drop anything and just want it to cover front and back of the device. Does not cover edges or corners of the device.

Okay product, if you’re buying this expecting to have amazing protection for your product then this is not the product for you. Case provides minimal protection and is slightly larger then the iPad mini. It occasionally falls do to that fact. Good product for an adult or someone who’s is a carful person

It’s OK but not great. I generally like Apple cases, but this one is kind of cheap feeling compared to others I have had. I will still use it because it’s thin and doesn’t add bill to the iPad mini. It doesn’t provide a lot of protection but I am pretty careful with my stuff.

For $50 I would recommend getting a different cover sure this does the trick but I wish it had a larger fold for when resting in on a flat surface. Doesn’t cover enough surface area and hardly elevates the iPad high enough for any practical uses

Is it? The material honestly feels like cardboard. I wouldnt think this would protect anything in a fall. The redeeming factor , and my highest priority for an ipad mini case, is how slim it is. it does not feel bulky like other cases.

This is the official Apple cover. What i didn’t realize when I bought it online is that it doesnt have a tray for the ipad. Its more like a magnetic book cover that just sticks the ipad. There is nothing to secure it or protect the edges. So to my way of thinking its more decorative than functional as a case. It does work to prop up the ipad in landscape mode so thats something. And it looks nice. But if you are looking to protect your ipad I would look elsewhere.
