A: Hi, Thank you for your question. The amplifier included with the Sonance Patio 4.1 system is not weather-rated, so it should be installed indoors or in a protected, dry location, not exposed to the elements. The amplifier also does not have built-in Bluetooth. To play music from a Bluetooth device, you’ll need to connect a Bluetooth-enabled source or streamer to the amp using its audio inputs. A: Hi, Thanks for your question! The Sonance Patio Series 4.1 Outdoor Speaker System includes a dedicated Sonance amplifier and is a wired system, it does not connect wirelessly on its own. However, it can seamlessly integrate with your existing Sonos setup using a Sonos Port. By connecting the Sonos Port to the Sonance amplifier, you’ll be able to control the Patio 4.1 system through the Sonos app, just like your other Sonos devices. If your soundbar is a Sonos soundbar, you can group it with the Patio system in the app, allowing you to extend TV audio to your outdoor space. I hope you found this information helpful. Q: What speaker wire is recommended for this system?
A: Hi, Thank you for your question. We recommend choosing wire size based on the distance between the amp to the furthest speaker. Here are our recommendations: 18 gauge - For distances up to 100 feet 16 gauge - For distances up to 150 feet 14 gauge - For distances up to 250 feet As a best practice, we recommend 14/4 direct-burial speaker wire be used.
