When using the Sonance SR 2-125 amplifier that comes with the Garden Series 8.1 package you can connect a maximum of (16) Garden Series Satellites and (2) Garden Series Subwoofers to the amplifier. Hi, I recently purchased a house with an outdoor sonarray system (sr1). Would I be able to add these to the sonance SGS 8.1 system and use the old sub from the sr1 system because that is the only good part left of it. (2 old speakers don’t work, 1 blown)

Can I use these 4 Garden series speakers with a Garden series sub connected to a Sonos amp? Or does it need a minimum of 8 speakers for proper ohms?

Sonance Garden Series requires all (8) satellites and the subwoofer to get a total system impedance of around 8 ohms. Using half of the satellites raises the impedance and could cause damage.
